July 23, 20241 yr @Franz007 Mr Efis, you are one of them who likes to make mocking comments about some things that are being seen as positive by the majority (see the FF777v2 thread). ----------------------------------- Since you called me on this topic, here we are. Could you kindly point me to where I made mocking comments about FF 777 v2? I have never mocking comments about new FF 777 v2, but I only said that in the past I have not been satisfied with FF products for obvious reasons known to all buyers (framerate not optimized, planes left unfinished). The one who allowed himself to make mocking comments about a B777 was you when you wrote:"The PMDG for ex. doesn’t have a realistic weather-radar for example, yet « kids » will buy it". I hope you don't mind if I ask you again: do you want to explain to all of us uncultured pilots why anyone who buys a plane for FS2020, or for P3D, or for FS9, or for AeroflyFS4, in short any plane not for Xplane would be a "kid", and why do you enjoy labeling those users in that mocking way so much? And why are you interested in the PMDG on an Xplane topic knowing full well that the PMDG cannot work in Xp12, so starting to comment (or make fun of) that plane and/or its customers is completely useless (and childis) here? Let's see if you have a logical answer or if you'll hide behind "it's my opinion, so don't dare criticize it". In case you think so, I'll give you some bad news: you know that all opinions are open to criticism, right? So my opinion is that you wrote two nonsense: - one about PMDG buyers - one about me (I've never mocking comments about FF 777 v2) Edited July 23, 20241 yr by efis007 [Pc Intel i3-4160 3,6 GHz, 8 GB di RAM, GeForce RTX-3060 12 GB, Win10 Home 64 bit]

Look…and to what comment exactly was I refering to by that statement? Did you even tried to understand resp. did you read? About someone (not a surprise who spends a lot of time on MSFS-forum and likes to critic XP a lot) implying that those buying the alpha 777 were « kids ». But that didn’t disturb you obvisously and you prefered to attack my comment instead of his. It cannot be more obvious. i9 12900k, RTX 3090, 32GB RAM
July 30, 20241 yr I have been an X-Plane user since X-Plane 10 and today I use X-plane 12. I bought all their planes and when I say all, I mean ALL. And the truth is that I do not spend or waste any more money on this developer because he has shown me over these years that he cares very little about the client and the after-sales. Currently, Flight Factor has not updated its already launched aircraft for months and they present failures and errors. Flight Factor's technical support is terrible and they are arrogant. Their planes are not fully simulated and after launch they usually update them a few times and then abandon them. Regarding the A350 and A320, they still have a lot to do and finish. The A320 costs the same as the Tolis A320 and Toliss proves to be vastly superior to Flight Factor. Being more aware of their planes and clients. Nowadays, in my opinion, the best airliner developers are: FlyJSim - Take Command! - Toliss - X-Crafts. And because of everything mentioned above, I don't plan to buy anything from Flight Factor anymore. I don't want to offend or bother anyone at all. I just wanted to publish my opinion. I bought the Dash Q4XP more than a year ago and the truth is that I usually update it from time to time. The last update was on May 29 and the current version is Version 1.38.1 Regarding the 737 and 727, more information can be found in their discord channel. Flight Factor is conspicuous by its absence in quality and updates. I love turboprops and I fly the Q400 a lot and it is excellent. I recommend that you buy it if you have the chance or any offer that comes out.

The 737 and 727 say on discord that it goes on sale soon. All 2024 FJS updates for the Q400: Version 1.38.1 (May 29th 2024) Fixes and Improvements - Alert and Warning Sounds: Resolved issues with alert and warning sounds to ensure proper functionality. - Propeller Adjustments: - Fine-tuned disc idle prop RPM and prop mass for improved performance. - Corrected prop pitch offset to stabilize idle speed. - TA/RA Font Adjustment: Modified the TA/RA font to prevent overlapping with the HPA display for better readability. - TCAS Mode Default: The default TCAS mode is now set to TA/RA instead of TA only, enhancing situational awareness. - ADI Plane Symbol: Adjusted the ADI plane symbol for more accurate pitch representation. - JPAD Menu Toggle: Moved the JPAD menu toggle to the aircraft menu for easier access. - EULA Display Issue: Fixed the flashing EULA issue that occurred when loading the aircraft. Version 1.38 (May 21st 2024) - for XP12 only - XP11 remains 1.34 -Fixed oil pressure in the network. - Fixed PROP over speeding when using reverse thrust upon landing. - Fixed stuttering of GPWS. Version 1.35 (March 27th 2024) - for XP12 only - XP11 remains 1.34 - Doors will definitely open now. - Fixed FPS on M1 mac, you know have a LuaJit toggle in the options menu of the JPad. -Adjusted engine idle speeds. Version 1.34 (March 22nd 2024) - Fixed Pressurization limiting doors operation. ##UNS: - Fix crash caused by terrain display database at high latitudes (ENSB). - Fix crash due to bad input validation on HOLD FIX page (when entering 0 instead of a valid leg item number). - Fix crash when deleting flight plan FMS heading mode was on. - Fix once-a-second stutter due to wrong OpenGL texture transfer format for EGPWS display. - Change LNAV tracking algorithm to match the one used by the real FMS. - Fix incorrect overfly turns when sequencing to a CF leg. - Fix truncated procedure names in clearance-format flight plan (FPL > MENU > CLEARANCE). - Fix non-IFR airport not shown in database. - Fix incorrect COM-radio frequency validation in FMS TUNE page (frequencies above 135 MHz were incorrectly rejected). - Fix some conditional legs not being parsed correctly (altitude legs with Flight Level values). - Change texture transfer format for EGPWS terrain display to minimize stutter. - Improve direct-to roll out computation to avoid S-turns where possible. - Fix holds not computed properly if inserted at the current TO leg with less than 15 seconds left before sequencing (plane was steering for 360° and never turning back inbound). - If "DISABLE M/APPR" is selected in the NAV MENU, show the missed approach regardless once navigating to the last approach leg. - Fix HSI/FMS desired track display. The FMS was flying great circle paths correctly, but the HSI desired track was not updating along the (changing) great circle heading. - Improve display of DF (Direct-to-Fix) procedural legs with roll-out/PPOS point on MFD. Version 1.33 (August 15th 2023) - fix for log error overload issue causing crashes.

And subconsciously I might compare FF to the Captain Scam as I was using their 75/67 in P3D, so not really much complain based on that level....

You compare planes from another simulator and developers of planes from another simulator with planes from X-Plane. Neither CS nor MJS are in X-Plane. Greetings

You can not simulate screw fastening torque variation with altitude when it means barely scratching at the 20 FPS line on a $800 CPU and $1500 GPU. In MSFS I get 120fps very smooth by using LosslessScaling, available on Steam. I think it can be used in XPlane also. The next update allows x4 fps, so 20fps can become 80fps. I have used it for a while in MSFS and it works very well.
