Why do your 3rd party addons need to be secure? It only really makes sense for the dev as a means to stop piracy, but they sell unencrypted on other sites, so seems they don't care about that anyway.

I stay away from Marketplace if possible.

I think about reducing my securiry footprint on the internet so haven't created an online account in years.  MP is the answer for me.
