Pyreegue Dev Co. EGPH - Edinburgh Airport II Released

Featured Replies

That is entirely up to the developer. I can understand him wanting to update Edinburgh if he felt that he now has the tools to do a much better job, even though the first version was considered extremely good by all accounts. Since Edinburgh is one of my favourite airports (I have visited it in real life more than any other airport apart from Manchester), I look forward to exploring this super detailed version 2 very soon!

Why is it that so many people expect free upgrades these days? It isn't as if this guy has added a few static tugs, changed a couple of lines, and tweaked a handful of parking spots. This is a complet

  • It's virtually a complete re-work and improvement of EGPH, from one of the best scenery devs out there. For £11. I don't feel that's too much ask. But you have the choice to buy it, or keep the older

Just finished my first flight into EGPH v2 with the Fenix A320. Great performance on approach, some minor stutters while taxiing on the apron with FSLTL. Not much difference to v1 though, imho. But otherwise: IT IS INSANE! There will be those who don't appreciate a detailled interior, but I do. And the landside modeling is next level as well, as are the runway and taxiway textures. I've been there irl a few years ago, and the bus stop and tram station is exactly as I remember it. For approx. 15€ (currently on sale at Contrail Shop) it is a bargain as far as I am concerned. A probable update should include internal terminal sounds, but regardless Pyreeque is no doubt on par with Jo Erlend.

With the upcoming World Update and Edinburgh getting the TIN-treatment, this is THE DESTINATION in MSFS 2020.spacer.pngspacer.pngspacer.png

I have to admit, it looks good, but I don't like to spend too much time admiring the scenery inside the airport...I don't want to miss my flight, besides I need the time for my pre-flight flows and checklists! 🙂

I am quite content with version 1 - I do not need to walk through the shopping center and restaurants - but the scottish collegues are surely happy to get such a perfectionized and detailed architecture simulation.

It is the name of the drainage system that is used at the airport. Version 2 of Edinburgh apparently includes a detailed model of this in action.

It exists in V1 as well but it is much more detailed in V2 and it also includes the small burn that the excess rain water flows into.

Any idea if it would available at ORBX?
