Well have tried it and find it the not the best implementation of AI and ATC... So I'm not going to renew my monthly test....

ATC -Voices and chatter of for Europe more US voices
Vectoring off
Traffic collisions
Co-Pilot and CPDLC is not in sync and so off
Co-Pilot stops responding just silence
Wrong departure briefing and based on the simbrief calculation for V speeds and not the aircraft
I see the potential but at this point I leave Alexa and Siri for the time being parked...
Lot of repetitive chatter from the same voices
Etc...

I have not experienced your issues, and you have not posted your settings. Co-Pilot has been flawless for me and the Clearance via Acars works a treat

Maybe you should reach out to the Dev for help .

CPDLC is more then pre-departure clearance 😉 anyway for now it's parked.

Not a dev, don't work for nor have anything to do with Say AI other than being a customer. I signed up for a month and liked the program so much I switched for a yearly subscription. Does it have its issues, yep, but getting better and better with each update.

JMHO: Say Intentions AI is good enough to be Flight Sim product of the year.

BTW: I'm not signed up for any contest!

I love SayIntentions and because I fly all sorts of aircraft and not airliners I need the variability and flexibility that it allows.  If I was just flying and airliner from A-B doing the same stuff over and over again then an on rails ATC would be fine.  But I don’t know of another ATC that will let me fly for example a military flight with a delay working in a MOA or air refueling with touching clouds mod and let me talk to it like I would in real life and it responds pretty appropriately.  And then when I’m ready to continue on the flight plan it picks me back up and works well.  Yes there’s bugs and sometimes things go backwards.  I saw the comment above about the same 2-3 voices.  That has been recently fixed again.

Anyway, you don’t have to like it or try it but for me and what I do with the sim it’s worth the money and I don’t even get to fly usually more than 2x a week.  But it’s everything I could have wanted from an ATC program and is just going to get better.  And if I just go out to eat one time less a month then it just paid for itself.

First, my opinion is mine so it cannot be “false”. I simply shared my observations, and impressions. It also seems like a bit of a contradiction to start a competition to get the word out, and then tell people not to spam.

No, I have not tried SI, and I have no “intention” to do so. I already have an ATC programme that I like. You have yours, and that’s great, I’m happy you’re enjoying it.

I personally find that some SI users/promoters tend to be a lot more aggressive in trying to convert everyone to their cause than users of other products. To each their own, we don’t all have to like the same thing. If anyone asks for my opinion about the product I use, I’m happy to share it but I don’t expect that mine is the one true one, and everyone has to like what I like or their differing opinions are “false”.

Yup...they are paying/incentivizing/rewarding people to spam SAI praise on all media outlets and forums.  At a minimum, the people doing this should disclose it.   SAI is coming across as more of an AI hype-machine with questionable marketing tactics. Be careful with how much money you throw at these guys....if the product is so great, it should speak for itself.

Bryan at FS2Crew does the same and so do many more. If you are a happy customer and want to help promote, why not

FB and twitter aside, I have yet to see any form spam of SI here at Avsim. Can you provide examples ?

Not a dev here either. I was all in for BATC as it was being developed. I  bought it and got all the premiums, including the supporter's lounge access. SI was never on my radar at all.

But when I found out that SI wasn't just for VFR (which was the initial plan), I tried it and never looked back. I wasted some money by investing in both programs, but both are doing good work, to be sure.

I still try a flight occasionally using BATC, but it just isn't as immersive for me. Hey, we have choices. I used FSHud before BATC and SI, which is also quite nice. To each their own.

Maybe 'spam' isn't the correct term but if they are incentivizing people to go talk about how great it is on forums and social media and they then go post a screenshot of it on their Discord channel to get a prize...what is that called?  And the people certainly are not disclosing this when they make these posts.  Just seems kind of strange to me....even Amazon reviews show if the person was incentivized/paid....

I do agree it has the potential to be abused, and without full disclosure. As I posted above, other devs engage in this practice ie FS2Crew, but winning a prize is on another level.

Generating more revenue for further development would be SI intention I guess.

Your opinion can be yours and also contain false information which is what I was saying.  Also I haven't even entered this "contest" even though I have promoted SI a few times and also am trying to correct false information that people are posting....especially those who have obviously not even tried it like yourself.  I also don't have much time to worry about whether I win a contest or not so I really don't care.  What I do care about is truth and so since you were unknowingly spreading false information in your opinion I figured a reply from an actual user was warranted.  I get it that the subscription fee is hard to swallow for products.  I don't like them either and I was also really excited about BATC.  That was until I decided to try SI when they began offering IFR and I haven't looked back.  BATC is a great on rails ATC program it looks like (I never actually got to use it, just watched YouTube vids).  The future is not on rails and that is why SayIntentions.AI is ahead of the rest in my opinion and worthy of the subscription fee of a dinner a month....

Yeah I saw mention of the promotion they are looking to do to help reach a broader market. Maybe for younger users this is something that is attractive but thats not me. Heck, I rarely wear T-shirts because I'm a human and not a billboard. Of the few vehicles that I've brought, I wont drive it off of the lot if there is a dealership sticker on it and make it a point not to have it on the vehicle as terms of my buying it because once again, if I'm not getting paid from them then I'm not promoting them. I use my money to support a company and they can use those funds for their marketing. However, if I do speak of a company, I tend to favor more on the pros that I enjoy from the product or company.

Its just who I am. I'll go out of my way to point out an employee who has given me great service to their boss than seek out a manager to complain to them. Instead I just take my money elsewhere next time and beyond.
