MK Studio LPPT v2 released

Featured Replies

Great time for Portugal loving flyers, last week a new top notch version for LPMA, and now a new version of LPPT by MK Studio at a great discount price (25%) for those who own the previous version. All concourses leading to gates are modeled, but that's all as far the inside is concerned. For the rest of the scenery, there is a good upgrade of all textures and some detailed immediate surrounding areas making this airport more lively. The VGDS is active out of the box and all jetways connect to AI planes

Although not in the top league just yet, a good effort by MK Studio to raise once more their quality level, and a smart pricing especially if you had the previous version (much less expensive than the Madeira scenery released last week). If you visit often this airport, worth the upgrade price.

Key Features
- Highly detailed rendition of Lisbon Airport (LPPT)
- Key interior areas modelled
- Up-to-date ground layout with custom PBR textures
- Accurate runway elevation profile data
- Custom jetways
- Custom vehicle models
- Custom approach, runway, taxiway lights, ILS and other objects
- Custom taxiway labels
- AI compatible

  • Sorry, but me upgrading for almost 13 euros would requiere that. I can understand when devs charge for upgrades, but pricing policy need to adjust.

Time to get back on topic please.

  • Just bought it for the upgrade price. As it will upgrades to MSFS 2024 for Free it was a no brainer for me.

And begs the question, do they then plan on charging again for the 2024 version?

I never had v1 of this airport, but I will definitely be getting this rebooted version. MK Studios release high quality products, and this appears to be no exception.

A question you would not ask if you had read the product page. The answer is: No.

There's no link to the store page in the thread, so forgive them.

Question I would not have asked if it was already mentioned in the OP

Some people need information handed to them on a golden platter... 🤷‍♂️

Thanks for asking. It is always handy to see all the information in the thread rather than going to multiple websites in the hope that the information may or may not be listed. Ignore the insufferable.

Some think highly of themselves

Happy that all concourses leading to gates are modeled, but that's all as far the inside is concerned-but hey performance with terrain LOD at 400 is pretty good for me unlike KLGA where the check-in area with counters, etc were modelled.

I have already got V1 and will value opinions as to whether the upgrade is worth the extra cost?

Original purchase for p3d on sale 11.50, v1 msfs upgrade 5.00, v2 msfs upgrade 12.75. In the end, I've had this airport in my sim since 2019. It's been worth it for me, but probably not if the cost to me were much higher. The latest version is definitely an upgraded experience, and a nice destination. Nice to have it finally be at this standard level. Previous version were rarely visited honestly... This one will see more play.
