Cafe in Manchester thinks patrons very uncivilized.

They put up 21 different signs. Apparently one or two is not enough in Heaten Park.

That Notice for Parents about unsupervised children is pretty lame.  They should replace it with this ⬇️

I've seen plenty of children, even those in elementary grades, who were already masters of the art of swearing.

My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.

I totally understand why the owners feel the need to so this.

I don't know about the UK, but here in the USA we've seen so many rude and inconsiderate people around, especially since Covid.

Then there's all these parents nowadays who let their children scream and run around like wild animals.  It's true that there are exceptions and we've seen them and praised them, but the majority are just inconsiderate rubes.

We're looking for a house right now and one of our main criteria is finding a place that is somewhat isolated and as far away from other neighbors as we can get.  It's sad, because it's not that we're anti-social, but we just don't trust people any more and want to be as far away from them as possible.

Swear words have become a part of our everyday lexicon.  The people who make it a normal part of their language pass that on to their children.  It's not really considered swearing today except for we oldtimers.  We used 'darn' and 'drat' in mixed company and only when necessary like when you spilled a cup of coffee on your lap.  But in the workplace we did a bit of old fashion swearing.

If Mom caught her son or daughter using what is probably a 'word not allowed' here she would wash that child's mouth out with soap.

Times, they are a changin'.

The tires are worn.  The shocks are shot.  The steering is wobbly.  But the engine still runs fine.

I love dogs, but if I see a dog in a restaurant I leave.

Trying to keep peace and harmony and the will of Landru on the site seems to be a full time job!

Even seeing-eye and service dogs?

I just did a Google Search of this Cafe, it is in the middle of a city park, so yea that park is filled with Dogs and Kids, and yea they would be bringing dogs into the Cafe or the kids in to use the toilets for free etc, I can see the frustrations, they probably don't need 21 signs to show it but yea they would absolutely have more then there fair share of dogs and mums taking bubs into the toilets 😄

I'm Dyslexic, what's an error to you is not to me

It's Heaton Park - named after me and I have 5 kids - 10 grandchildren named Heaton - but sometimes agree with the author of the sign 😁

You would love the area where I currently live. I rent a 1 bed, 1 bath cottage on a private, 100-acre estate. My cottage is 8 miles from Hot Springs, AR and is surrounded by 100'+ trees. I have a private pond in front of my cottage stocked with fish and turtles. At night it's darker than a black cat's butt, but it is very, very remote and tranquil.

No.  I'm talking about regular dogs. These are fine. "Comfort" dogs...No
