FS2020 users can still play offline without the photo imagery, we don't have this choice in FS2024 You've got to be kidding me! I am sorry pal but no one forced you to remove MSFS 2020 - you did that at your own leisure so as a result you have got yourself into this situation in first place. Anyone who has been in flight sim long enough would know that uninstalling old sim on day 1 is very bad idea. Now you want MSFS 2020 servers to be shut down so that 2024 version works fine - I don't think so! Besides MSFS servers was not having good time either, Online services such as scenery streaming and weather were constantly dropping off. So overall it is not just MSFS 2024 servers - entire MS/Asobo servers went down. MSFS 2024 launch was one of the worst launch in history - this is worst then MSFS 2020 in my opinion. True Bob, 2024 though has much to offer. I flew A330 of Ini and it was nice! However, it can already hamper the 2020 servers... will test it today I surely hope not. I mean who cares if the base game is triple the size. Storage is cheap But...what good would 'figuring it out' do at this point in time? I'm wondering if the reason they went to thinner client has something to do w/ the alleged 4000x polygon density as was used in 2020. It seems like that could translate into a much bigger base game, perhaps approaching over a TB.
