We need the FS2020 servers

Featured Replies

Extraordinary circumstances require extraordinary measures.

Many of us uninstalled FS2020 and cannot access FS2024 due to server overload. FS2020 servers could be temporarily shut down and allocated for FS2024 to help us in this dire situation.

FS2020 users can still play offline without the photo imagery, we don't have this choice in FS2024

Err no - your fault for uninstalling ‘20. And for your info - ‘20 is also having a rough time right now with constant disconnects.

Yeah, no. Enjoying an event-free flight on the MSFS 2020 I've been tweaking/perfecting for 4 years. I purchased 2024... wouldn't download... will try another day. Precisely why I DIDN'T delete 2020!

Stop whining about 2020 servers. offensive initials not allowed dude. This thread is a rage thread and should be locked.

Am raged enough about 2024 mess this should not pile up even further.

I9 12900K @ 5.1ghz P-cores/ 4.0 ghz E-cores fixed HT off / Corsair iCue H150i Capellix Cooler/ MSI Z690 CARBON WiFi / 32GB Corsair DDR5 RAM @ 5200 mhz XMP on / 12GB MSI 4090 RTX Ventus 3 / 7,5 total TB SSD (2+2+2+1+0,5 all NVMe)/ PSU 850W Corsair / 27" (1080P)

Even if MS/Asobo was disposed to doing this - pretty sure its a million more times difficult to do then just flipping a few switches - especially since MS/Asobo has made clear 2020 isnt being deprecated and is going to be supported and updated for the time being.

I actually thought that you were being sarcastic when you posted this comment in the other thread. You made your bed when you uninstalled FS2020, so I suggest that you sleep in said bed until further notice. As for being able to play offline in FS2020..........

Fs2020 is shut down; it do not work either.

the biggest thing asobo needs to figure out is if it was even worth it in the first place going with a "thin" client.  I mean who cares if the base game is triple the size.  Storage is cheap

Sorry, but the users that had the sense to keep hold of FS2020 are not responsible for the decisions of those that deleted it.

With the online nature of (both versions of) MSFS it's well worth having a sim that actually works offline as a backup !!

We knew people would lose their head at the launch but this one takes the cake...
