November 20, 20241 yr Hi - the MSFS Forums and bug reports are so inundated with issues that I thought I'd ask this simple question here. As soon as I load into a cockpit in MSFS2024 my camera immediately points down to the seat. I've tried everything including removing peripherals, rebinding the middle-mouse button (works fine in FS2020) and removed the keyboard binding for cockpit down, up, left, right. Has anyone else experienced this and has anyone solved it? Thank you, Len Edited November 20, 20241 yr by leinsters
November 21, 20241 yr I have the exact same issue, except that when I enter the cockpit in Freeflight mode (The only mode I have tried so far, so don't know if it does the same in other modes or not) my head rolls back and I am looking straight up. I have not yet found a solution, but if I do I will post it here. Kerry W. GipeSavannah Georgia, USAUS FAA A&P / Commercial Pilot Multi Engine Land IFRYour talent is a gift from God. November 22, 20241 yr Author thank you, please do... 3 days now and I've tried everything. Been so close to refunding and then see it looking amazing in someone's YouTube video... so I hold off
November 22, 20241 yr You have some hardware input that is causing this. Try unplugging everything except your KB/Mouse and see if it still happens. If it does, try deleting the default keybindings and start again. Edit: I see you tried unplugging. Then, go straight to the delete all bindings.. November 22, 20241 yr I had similar problems. There are some asignments by default causing camera to turn by default.(different from MSFS2020) In this case, for example for cockpit camera, I deleted all the view assignment key bindings (by creating a new profile for each hardware) and re-assigned the ones I used to work in MSFS2020. Check your assignments of MSFS2020 (take photo of them by mobile phone) and select the same ones in MSFS2024. I hope this works for you , too. November 22, 20241 yr I had opened a discussion for the same problem and I wrote how I had solved the problem: 1/ I disconnected one by one all the devices linked to MSFS to detect the conflict 2/ I redid the profiles Config : AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D - MSI PRO B850-S WIFI6E - RAM G.Skill 2 x 32 Go DDR5 6000 MHz CL30 - MSI GeForce RTX 5080 16G VENTUS 3X OC PLUS - 2 WQHD (2560x1440) screens and only one of which is for MSFS
November 22, 20241 yr I cannot get the mouse pan to work at all now - it's assigned but simply doesn't work. I think there's something seriously bugged with this sim and assigments.
November 22, 20241 yr Here with me, panning with the mouse only works when I delete the panning assignments of the coolie hat of my velocity flight stick...

Yup, there are many control bugs like currently. If something doesn't work right, it may not be your setup, it can very well be a bug.
