AIG Manager beta for MSFS2024

No, you can simply copy the FSLTL files from the 2020 community folder to the 2024 community folder. At this moment there is only one installer anyway.

Thanks, appreciated.   Did you turn off traffic in the sim?

I'm sure @mistolip will answer. The way I do it is to disable all traffic in the sim. And turn off aircraft and airport traffic in the graphics settings. I then run the FSLTL injector and set FSHud to simulator traffic - enable (with nothing else enabled).

FSHud will then detect the FSLTL AI traffic and control them.

The updated AI Manager is needed to update the models.

My AIG manager crashes every time I use it, after it has installed a few aircraft - anyone else?

When you copy the files from msfs2020 to msfs2024, the injector is still set to msfs2020.

I use AIG (and FSLTL) with BeyondATC and just as FSHud it is adviced to turn off traffic in the sim. However, because the airport I visit usually look rather dead and empty with just BeyondATC I have Airport Traffic in MSFS2024 enabled at High: this populates the airport with planes and stuff. Looks a lot nicer that way. I do have flying traffic turned off. Of course I do get the occasional aircraft overlapping another one on parking spots but I never really pay close attention to that: I just want my airports to look alive and this way they do.

If you are using the FSLTL injector I suppose that's the case. FSHud and BeyondATC only use the FSLTL models though. FSHud still needs the injector but afaik it can also use that input in MSFS2024. BeyondATC needs no other injector at all.

I am trying to understand what I am doing wrong. I installed the update. I am in this perpetual loop where AIM says, "No Package Detected." I've tried linking the OCI folder, "D:\AIG OCI\aig-aitraffic-oci" It tells me to restart AIM, which I do. I open it again in MSFS 2020 mode. Now I click "Verify Setup," and it crashes. When I open it again, it still says, "No Package Detected."

So, no matter what I do, AIM doesn't show the entire folder I downloaded.

How I got FSLTL working. Sorry if old news by now

1. Launch Fly By Wire Installer

2. Cog Wheel / lower left corner/ Point Install directory to your MSFS2024 Community folder

3. Install Injector and Base models

4. Launch MSFS 2024

5. MSFS2024 Settings > Graphics > Traffic Airport Quality <Off>

6. MSFS2024 Settings > Online > Aircraft Traffic Type > AI Offline

7 Launch FSLTL Injector, Run through questions, make sure to turn the generic models off, disable

8. Run a flight and the gates should fill up with the right liveries

Old news and slighlty misplaced in the AIG thread 😉

I only have MSFS2024 installed.
AI-Manager is 1.3.0.5.
I am only proceeding to load configuration files.

Do I need to have MSFS2020 installed to use AI-Manager?

Do you see the option to choose between 2020 or 2024 when you start the manager? Create an empty folder called Microsoft Flight Simulator in the same folder as where the MSFS2024 folder is. Start the manager and see if you get the option to choose 2020 or 2024. If so, select 2024.

You may have to copy the useropt.cfg (or something like that) from the 2024 folder into the empty MSFS folder btw.

Once you succeeded to get the manager to see 2024 (and updated or downloaded a few files) I think you can delete the empty MSFS folder.

It works, but I don't see a choice between MSFS2020 and MSFS2024 at the beginning.
