Then I just started BeyondATC and it loads the AI traffic. Do you still have FSLTL installed with msfs2020? If so, I assume that requires a separate flybywire installer, one for msfs 2020 and one for msfs2024.

No, you can simply copy the FSLTL files from the 2020 community folder to the 2024 community folder. At this moment there is only one installer anyway.

Or, you use AddonLinker and tell the small tool that the MSFS2020 community folder is a source for MSFS2024 addons. Like that, you do not need to move a thing... Ahh, but what about FSHud, where the later injects the traffic into the sim (either MSFS2020/24), without the need of the AIG Traffic Manager? I’m probably off track here and not sure how a new MSFS 2024 AIG Manager will affect the gear on the AIG models? To my knowledge: With FSHud you do not use the AIG Traffic Manager, just the AIG models and liveries (installed via the AIG AI Manager). So in FSHud you will see Landing Gears too. Same for BeyondATC. Edited December 18, 20241 yr by kiek
December 18, 20241 yr I have MSFS 2024 and the community folder on a separate drive and only copied the AIG and FSLTL folders from 2020 into the 2024 community folder within seconds. Works perfectly with BATC. If there is any AIG- or FSLTL update for the ac-models in 2020, I will do it again. No need for experimental software at the moment...

AIG 2020 models in 2024 lack landing gears. Edited December 18, 20241 yr by kiek

AIG Traffic Controller is not needed as FSHud handles the injection. But the models folder - aig-aitraffic-oci-beta - need to be present in 2024 community. The updated AI Manager is needed to update the models. And - the gear is back 😊🥳 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5
