Grand Canyon Vistas

Featured Replies

I actually hadn't been to the Grand Canyon much in 2024.

So I thought I'd take a few pics of various times of the year... pretty much from places accessible on foot.  Some of these are famous overlooks, some are just random.

Hope you enjoy!

East of the main visitor's center (looking west-ish)

I remember a time when I visited as a child... but it was very overcast much like this pic.  It honestly brought out the colors a little more.  I was happy to have seen it with my own eyes.

Perhaps you'd see this in early spring or early winter?  This is Hopi Point looking east-ish

Unfortunately the small gap in the rocks here at "Angel's Window" did not make it in the scenery...

Nice, now how is Canyon Lands, Bryce Canyon, and the PNW looking?🙃

Gold Coast is another location of note where the islands (Moreton and Stradbroke) north of GC look likes the Caribbean.😁

I guess FS2024 is working well for you Ryan—nice screen-shots of the Grand Canyon btw.

Nice shots of that great landscape.

Crisp and beautiful pictures...Ryan...and a very thorough (tour-guide) visit of this amazing place...🙂....looks like you know it very well...

I had one visit to it but a really good one, had travelled in a tour-bus (not sure why I'd opted to take the bus...instead of a rental car...) from Las Vegas to Grand Canyon. On the way, the bust stopped for a sightseeing of the Hoover Dam...

Thanks for sharing these MSFS pictures of it...good to know it's so well-done in MSFS2024...!

Amazing set of shots showcasing the Grand Canyon! It really looks great in 2024.

2024 night lighting looks great to me...  with the exception of airports being generally too bright still.  I've got a low stratus layer here with the city lights illuminating the bases... pretty cool

I was referring to 2020 Ryan - I like 2024 for the most part - needs more work but that will never happen

Launch was a disaster but I l'll wait it out 🙂
