Wow, what a huge thread... Have they acknowledged the issue?

Yes it's marked as "bug logged".

I think it might be 'server issues'.  I've been trying to run BATC with both MSFS2020 and MSFS2024 over the last 24 hours and thinking that BATC had some big bugs, making MSFS stutter like crazy.  So I just went on an hours trip in MSFS2020, just me and the aircraft and the sky.  I lost server connection 6 times.  New Year, new users, same old servers...

Recommended is 32gb....Ideal is 64gb... So with 32gb you should be fine, if not they would not recommend it.

Well, you are aware about what «recommended» means for games, right? It is not equal to «set everything on ultra». Turn down your settings and you.will be fine with 32GB. Or get 64GB, never been more cheap than nowadays.

Greetings, Chris

Go back and read my post... I'm not even on Ultra.

When the sim launched, I had decent success with the Fenix and 32g of ram. Since the stability patch before Christmas it's been worse. Makes me think how they solved crashes was gobbling a ton of ram.

You have developer mode on.

Check "options" in dev mode, then remove check mark at "smart docking System"

Are you saying that having "smart docking System" checked caused performance issues?

Yes. Here my GPU runs at 100% constantly if it is enabled.

Try it, hope it helps

Also, FG seems to be broken, when I switch views it acts up and stutters.

Yes, I've noticed this since the pre-Christmas patch was released.

What in the earth 32GB RAM "are not reasonable"??? there is an unreasonable memory leak there, this is due mainly to heavy third part liners because all is working well with GA airplanes.

Yeah true. Some sims (and ahem, other software ie games) are not optimized.

Hopefully they can sort it out

Wow, two threads and still I don't see a solution.  For me, it was default planes and default scenery causing issues.  A32N at default JFk - same plane at Flightbeam KSFO not possible.  On the A350, the moment I would look to the cockpit door, frames went down the drain.  This is a totally fresh install....just decided to buy it this week!

Guys for system memory run ISLC works a charm for me ever since MSFS2020 came out.
