Figured I'd answer this quickly as it's been asked a lot; Time acceleration is present, functional and supported up to 4X. I personally believe 4X is more than adequate, hopefully you all feel the same! 🙂

  • Cause a lot of people consider the A350 primarily a long-hauler but don't have the time to do actual long hauls so yeah, time acceleration is quite important.

Can you provide more details about how it will support time acceleration? The FAQ don't really give away much. What's the max sim rate it will support? Will it be an auto cruise feature like the PMDG?

Hi there!

As we are nearing release, we'd love to hear what kind of burning questions you all may have regarding our upcoming A350. We'll be picking questions that haven't been covered by us in the FAQ and will answer them at a later date.
Please see our A350 FAQ before asking as it may have your answer already.

Thank you!

Your airplanes have a very good potential and the A350 is welcome. But you are faster to sell new airplanes than to update the older ones.

Missing the PMDG DC6 in MSFS 2024 (she's here, but...).

That is outstanding news. Thank you very much for implementing this feature which for the length of flights the A350 can do is essential for me.

I agree 4x is really the sweet spot.

Really looking forward to the release now.

Great, thanks. Is that just a 1x/2x/4x switch or is it adaptive cruise like PMDG - set and forget? 4x is great, though I do like the ability to go to 8x especially on long journeys across oceans. Nonetheless, 4x is much better than nothing!

Is the a350 built upon the code of a300 - 330 - a400 and could WASM-freeze? I'm sorry about the bluntness of my question but it is very frustrating...

It is just OK and better than nothing, a jump ahead feature would be gold.

That’s not really true.

Maybe you have a different concept on what is really working without bugs.

Yes, it's better than nothing. But back in my FS9 days, I was used to 8-16x. Although with a working Jump Ahead feature (such as the FSL one), I agree it would be gold.

Good to hear we’ll get 4x.  I assume since it’s supported fuel will also be consumed 4x.  FWIW I can use time acceleration with the other INI airbuses but the fuel consumption doesn’t change.  Hopefully that’s an easy fix for the rest of the fleet.

And I don’t get comments like that. Why don’t you post your pressing questions instead of trying to diminish something that is clearly important to a lot of people?
