Thanks you, it's what I have done but didn't realize it was broken.

Note that it saves that registration for everything you fly. If that's already been stated, sorry. As it doesn't like a blank space I put a . (full stop, period, whatever)

  • Why does everything have to be a drama?

  • Gosh... where to start? I guess the situation is that there are quite a few of us who use the sim without any major issues. IMO (I've used it since Nov 19 and not used 2020 during these 3 months) - it

On a much more serious note...How the flippin' 'eck do you get rid of the bloody stowaway on the RVs?

thanks for the heads up, I wasn't aware of that. greatest fun in VR with WAVES set to ultimate, real world weather in PNW, watching the sprites and splashes so realistic in 3D I have never experienced in any sim before.

It is fairly obvious isn't it?  How can they stop a repaint with the registration painted on in the texture?  Use optical character recognition?

The thing is about these, they will be totally custom and added by the user, so there will be know liability issues for MS / Asobo, plus no other people should see them anyway, just the user.

How could the stop it.  Have the developer change it or remove it.

?  I don't understand your post.

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Left it on Manage for 2 hours after hitting Save, then started FS2024 & it said there was an update, so loaded that & the C185 was in the line up. Perhaps it registered in the background?

Could be. Check version number and Insider hub again whether you are signed in by now

Add and then remove the weight in the EFB. I hate that they come by default even if you have removed the weight in the flight_model.cfg. I'm not sure what they have done differently to other developers but I wish they hadn't!

EFB eh? To tell the truth I've only ever taken a perfunctory look at the EFB. Thanks for the tip. Is it permanent or is it yet another faff?

I've just spent the last 18 minute exploring every nook and cranny of said EFB and can't find nuffin about co-pilots or passengers being added or subtracted.

Oh wait a minute 'weight' not people weight, just weight.

I'll be back.

EDIT: I'm back. Empty handed. What's with this guy? Is he GLUED to the seat?

I give up. SWS aren't interested. Paskiaiset!

So I can remove the co-pilot from all three Vans. I have already removed the weight from flight_model but they still show up when the aircraft loads. Removing them in the EFB by adding and then subtracting again before clicking on 'Load' makes them vanish.

In the Kodiak I can remove the co-pilot from the cockpit view by clicking on the extinguisher but not in the exterior view. Changing the weight in the EFB does nothing. I can't remove the co-pilot from the Zenith either. Don't know about the PC-12 and I don't want to buy it until I do.

It's a bit of a mess and yes, SWS aren't commenting.

That's the bit I don't understand. Adding what, where? Clicking 'Load' where?

I've sent them a 'Contact Us' on the website. Oddly enough, in the Ticket section there is a 'No entry for plebs' sign on the door.
