February 20, 20251 yr So... they included the Seastar... Dornier had an interesting realworld reg on one of them. And now I can't fly it anymore. Should I file a bug report and insist on "as real as it gets"? And thats no fake, thats an official reg. No joke 😄

No joke 😄 Haha yeah I've seen a few on FlightRadar that me laugh, a shame they've decided to waste time on actually going against realism with real world registrations (if the above does indeed not work). February 20, 20251 yr Too many bugs on the 185. I refuse to have aircraft I won't fly so I've removed it for now. I'll try again when SU1 is released. 9950X3D - X870E Aorus Master- TUF 5090 OC - 64GB DDR5 - 1500W HXi - Titan 360 RX LCD - 9100 Pro x 2 - LG 45GX950A - HOTAS Warthog with Ava Base

That quick fix does not impact them working on other issues. None of us know how long these pointless tweaks take to fix, but hazarding a guess after coding, testing and Quality Control (of which there is none...) it's going to be at the very least 30minutes X however many more of these pointless tweaks are made (walking speed increase for one) = hours of development time that could've been spent on fixing some of the much more serious issues. Especially after they've owned up to releasing the game with thousands of bugs, you'd like to think they'd concentrate on the fundamentally most important ones and leave these minor nonsense tweaks for a Sim Update further down the line. "Simple" mouse related issues, that should never of been in the game from day one, are at this moment 3months without a fix and counting.... But nah let's enjoy a profanity filter that probably isn't even in MSFS2020 (is it?) that actually goes against realism and not forgetting the increased walking speed...its a total lack of understanding at Asobo about their priorities....again. February 20, 20251 yr Asobo has nothing to do and adds “profanity check”. How about adding a "politically correct phrase detection" in the next step?

How does taking away resources to work on the profanity check (a "fix" zero users were requesting or waiting for) not take away those exact resources from working on more serious issues? You are making a huge assumption to say the profanity check was a "quick fix". Edited February 20, 20251 yr by PlumCrazy
February 20, 20251 yr Can't believe that nothing has been done with the default 737max. Still the outside lighting does not work and still the transponder cannot be set (yeah I know the workaround) along with many other bugs that make it pratically unuseable. But hey, lets spend time on the possibilty that some people might use profane registrations, way more important to stop that !! 😡

For me the pilot seat position is almost perfect, maybe just a little bit too low. But I fly in VR exclusively. Also taxiing the 185 is no problem; just use the wheel brakes. But don‘t forget to unlock the tailwheel! The only thing I don‘t like on this 185 is the mediocre engine sound in the cockpit. I don't know and I certainly don't care, but reading the announcement: Quote Added profanity check on Callsign and FlightNumber in aircraft configurator It is not beyond reason to guess that there has been a "profanity check" from the outset and that adding two more items to it could have been little more than ticking two boxes. If you want your game to comply with this: then you do have to be able to enforce it. Dicks and Dick's and even D-ICKS do not appear to upset the Avsim profanity check and nor should they, as there are plenty of perfectly innocent interpretations, especially if your name is Dick. February 20, 20251 yr And no one seems to think the profanity filter is because of there ‘E’ for everyone rating. Kids do play this game not just grown word not allowed complaining men.
