I suspect quite a few folks are going to move over to MSFS 2024 to enjoy the full version of the A350 rather than using the "lite version" in MSFS 2020.

Your suspicions are wrong....

  • Why can´t people just not seem to accept that different poeple have different opinions... Questions like: Why would you need a cabin? Why would you not want a cabin? Why would you

  • All this time I thought you at least owned it - given all your complaining about it.  But you don't. Typical.

The only differences in the "lite" version are the cabin and dynamic weathering... Chances are if people are sticking with 2020 it isn't a cabin or dynamic weathering that's going to suddenly make them move...

The A380 also is a 2020 aircraft, so it's not taking advantage of the new performance saving features in 2024.

It also has no optimisation as was stated on Alpha release

Wow!!!!!! Did you see the $75.00 price tag fir this A350

Yeah… so? Judging by videos, justified.
Can’t even pay for family lunch for the price of one aircraft.
So yeah, perspective.

ps. And no, I don’t consider Burger King as a viable lunch option.

The reason why someone would stick with 2020 is only some addons that are not available for 2024 yet.

In my opinion, there are no other showstoppers.

lite version" in MSFS 2020

The features missing in 2020 is Cabin and Dynamic weathering other then that it is almost identical to 2024 version. Yes 2024 version makes use of advanced ground handling and flight model but that does not mean 2020 version is going to be horrible. For me Cabin and dynamic weather plays no factor whatsoever - I'm not here to be passenger, If I want to be passenger - I can do that for real. The only other thing missing is Lido charts - Again I use navigraph on my iPad so makes no difference whatsoever (most users on 2020 have navigraph so they don't lose nothing)

Agree. Though for 50% more than the Fenix it really must be good - or even better. 75 seems to be justified though judging by the videos, I am just sceptical about performance. My ini airports are not really known for exceptional performance. I know this is primarily my PC‘s fault and not ini‘s but yet I am spoiled by both FBW and Fenix

I hope its lighter on performance than the fbw A380

I hope this too - The thing is A380 was never optimised in the first place hence why the performance is terrible. A350 looks reasonable in my opinion but again during the streams they have used higher specs PC so it is very difficult to say whether it is optimised for all rigs or not. The only way we are going to find out is by installing it next week when it releases.

LOL...how much you  think it should be? If everything works as advertised and everything is simulated properly as they said it will well it's priced properly.....

I'm not sure where you and your family go to dine but maybe you should consider Burger King. But at lease with Fenix we got 3 different variants. I don't mind the price tag, I just hope it's worth it.

A380 was FBW and free addon. So it's right to assume that A350 would be much better and optimized. Besides they said that in their introductory video. Let's wait and see.

Re: the price, keep in mind with that you get both the 2020 and 2024 versions, both the -900 and -1000 variants, and also the future ULR variant.
