Regarding the cabin

the lack of cabin in 2020 is because of performance. It's too detailed, and relies on 2024's modular simobject system
that's also why per-livery aircraft configs aren't in 2020, it uses the modular simobject system to modify the cabin and other aircraft details.

Modular simobject system - never heard of that. I guess this affects other things as well. Maybe it could explain that I get much better performance in 2024 with lots of AI traffic? Interesting.

  • Why can´t people just not seem to accept that different poeple have different opinions... Questions like: Why would you need a cabin? Why would you not want a cabin? Why would you

  • All this time I thought you at least owned it - given all your complaining about it.  But you don't. Typical.

Hmm no cabin in the FS2020 version - puts a dampener on it for those of us still only on FS2020.

Not at all for me .. I operate in the cockpit... Those polygons can be saved (for me personally).

Well I like to use MSFS to recreate my real world flying (as pax) and having a cabin contributes to that.  For others this kind of consideration will be irrelevant and I get that.

And yet the cabin also shows unavailable for XBox in the product matrix...

So it's only available in 2024 on PC?

XBox can't take advantage of these features?

Probably performance issues. That's also why they can't use ANF

The cabin-less version will apparently have window inserts for views, I guess similar to what the default 2020 Asobo A320/747/787 have.

I am starting to find myself actually looking forward to this. It has been a long time since I have felt excited about an aircraft release, maybe all the way back PMDGs 747 release in P3D, was that 2017? I sure hope this lives up to the expectations.

MSFS 2024. Primary Planes: Black Square TBM850, Duke, Baron, Caravan; A2A Comanche; FSReborn Phenom; Fexix A321; PMDG 737-7, 777: Utilities: Active Sky (Passive Mode); BATC, FSLTL.

yep same here hopefully  the  tcas is working unlike  their A300-600

I am on MSFS2020 and have tried MSFS2024 several times, even joined BETA to see if it is more stable. I have put lots of efforts into MSFS2024 and on my system it is unstable, much more unstable compared to MSFS2020 (no CTD at all and even when....it was NOT MSFS2020 but something else causing CTD).

I am happy iniBuilds delivering my absolute favorit A350 aircraft. I am a Airbus fan and like the modern cockpit like flying with a sidestick as well! Space and clarity.

I do find it a bit disappointing, that IniBuilds did decide to not deliver a at least simple cabin, like PMDG, FBWA380 or Fenix.

Because I can´t use MSFS2024 stable I need MSFS2020 to use my hobby.

With a A350 without a cabin in MSFS2020 I am not able to sometimes switch into the cabin and enjoy the passengers views, watching the engines vibrating and shaking, hearing the roarings sounds of them while moving seats from front to back and hearing how sounds change....seeing the wings lift and release.....whily turbulences occure or when taking of.....seeing the sun shining into the cabin and deliver beautiful shadows....

That is something I will miss in MSFS2020.

@iniBuilds: Maybe you can reconsider this........I would even pay 10 GBP more to have this option!

Just my thoughts and sharing them here....as a passionate simmer.

MSFS2024 did not deliver a stable plattform, the price of EUR240!!!! was NOT worth it in my opinion to pay for a product in this state. I find that a shame on Microsoft! Just another opinion.

But I am Happy inibuilds did decide to deliver A350 for MSFS2020 as well.....and I think to have a good sence why they do that 😉

I don't think I ever switched to cabin views, I enjoy sitting in the cockpit flying. I can enjoy everything I need from there. I can understand your reasoning for staying with 2020 but to say it's unstable, that's false. Maybe on your PC, so I understand, but the reality is most developers are going to develop for 2024 They will maybe develop for a older sim but sooner than later it's going to be too much of a pain to develop for 2 sims, when everyone going to move to 2024. Why try to support 2 sims? As for a cabin, I travel for work. So I see all the cabin views I need every day, but what I find most impressive is when I see the cockpit and notice how this sim replicates it down to a tee and I speak with the pilots, and they get a kick out of talking cockpit talk. I found most of them are MSFS simmers in their spare time. But I could care less about a cabin when simming. Give me a good study level precise AC and I'm happy.

That's exactly what I've been thinking couple of days ago when I watching those ini-videos about the A350. PMDG MD-11 was a great aircraft.

Thanks Paul appreciated and I lost some cash 🤣

Very welcome Andre!  I had to shell out some money as well LOL

It's a really cool little map they built though.  They have one for the 777F as well.

Have a Wonderful Day
