It may be worth mentioning that SYKA Guyana’s Kaieteur International Airport  is actually PSKA in MSFS2024 if anyone has tried to find it.

Already done a few pages before.

Changing topic a bit: has anybody been able to use WU19 with Paulo Ricardo SBRJ, without getting double lines at SBRJ?

Maybe you should try the Gaya's SBRJ version included in the WU19 instead of Paulo's SBRJ. The latter includes landmarks of the city, but those are surpassed, in my opinion with the WU19's TIN photogrammetry of Rio de Janeiro.

To those that know Brazil, the Amazon is a very long river.  Can anyone suggest the best part (or parts) to explore as I doubt I have time to fly it in its entirety

I've done a couple of flights with both and still cannot make up my mind which I prefer.  I do like the cable car at sugarloaf with Paulo's scenery and I noticed that Christ the Redeemer looked better than the default using it too.

I also tried his Congonhas, but it does seem to flatten a lot of the photoscenery in the vacinity.

Any thoughts on MSFS24 compatible airport sceneries for Sao Paula and Brasilia to fly some air bridge flights from the included SBRJ?  This is not an area of the world I’ve previously flown in so not sure what’s available, what’s great, what to avoid etc.

Paulo Ricardo SBSP Congonhas + Mega São Paulo city for one of the shortest air bridges in the world: https://secure.simmarket.com/paulo-ricardo-congonhas-sbsp-msfs.phtml

Paulo Ricardo SBKP Viracopos Campinas.

SBBR by Brazil Land Games is recommended: https://www.brazillandgames.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=176

These are the best you can get in this region.

There is a freeware SBBR very good at flightsim.to.

Do you happen to know the best SBGL for long haul into Rio for starting my South American tour?  Looks like there may be a few available.

I think squeezing my 777 into SDU may get some frowns LOL

Also, is the consensus that we do or don't need SDU to properly portray the bridge?  What about the Rio City scenery?  No longer needed?

Thank you!

Have a Wonderful Day

Thank you, to confirm is this one working well with MSFS24?

I think the default SBGL is a handcrafted one.

Did you delete default SBRJ?

No: I mean, I tried first uninstalling the Paulo Ricardo SBRJ one after installing WU19, but I found out I liked his version better. I reinstalled the PR version and then I got the double lines at SBRJ. What should I delete in WU19 so that I can use the PR SBRJ scenery?

I’m on board with the request. I’d love to explore Brazil with the A2A Comanche or Beech18+Denarq mod. I don’t know anything about the geography of Brazil, so it would be great if you could share some routes or a website with resources to plan the flights.

There is no SBGL airport made for MSFS yet, only an improvement for the default one which is handcrafted but has some problems, your aircraft will fall in a hole taxing on the bridge to RWY10: https://flightsim.to/file/59837/galeao-sbgl-improvement-wip

Fsoares is producing a payware SBGL: https://www.thresholdx.net/news/fsogig

You need the Paulo Ricardo's SDU to have some city landmarks and a well made Rio-Niterói bridge. If you're taking off from SBGL it is irrelevant to have the bridge portrayed as you won't be able to spot it from near due to SID charts.

Delete SBRJ airport from WU19. It's about 2.5GB. Search for SBRJ, use the dashes on the right to enter the folders and only delete SBRJ. Be careful not to delete WU19.

Default is very nicely done. It's an enhanced airport.

So add me to the list who has never gone into Marketplace but always gone straight to Content Manager for my updates...

Content Manager shows me what's available to install as well as what's not installed and what's available to update.  It's how I realized that I missed some (a lot) of the updates and then installed them without ever going to marketplace...

I have never had to "purchase" a free update in marketplace to get it in content manager.

2020 or 2024?

Because you've ALWAYS had to go to the Marketplace and 'buy' all 19 World Updates in 2020. Ever since World Update I, Japan.
