  • Right now with Paolo's SBRJ, Rio looks beautiful.

I'm using the Vref Simulations SBGR A-OK with World Update 19, quite performance friendly for me and my Alienware and Lenovo gaming laptops.

MacBook Neo: A18 Pro with 6-core processor and 5-core graphics 8GB Unified Memory, macOS Tahoe, X-Plane 12 (12.40).

Mac mini: M4 chip with 10 core processor, 10 core graphics, 16 GB Unified Memory, 256GB SSD, macOS Tahoe, X-Plane 12 (12.40), X-Plane 11 (11.55).

Lenovo Legion 5 16IRX9: Intel Core i9-14900HX, 32GB DDR5-4800 RAM, 1TB Micron NVMe SSD, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 8 GB GPU and Intel UHD Graphics 16EU iGPU, Windows 11 Home, MSFS 2024 and 2020, X-Plane 12 (12.40), X-Plane 11 (11.55) and Lenovo LOQ 15 15IAX9: Intel Core i5-12450HX, 24GB DDR5-4800 RAM, 1TB Solidigm NVMe SSD, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050 4GB GPU and Intel UHD Graphics 16EU iGPU, Windows 11 Home, MSFS 2024 and 2020, XX-Plane 12 (12.40), X-Plane 11 (11.55).

Alienware m15 R7: Intel Core i7-12700H, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti 8GB, Windows 11 Home, MSFS 2024 and 2020, X-Plane 12 (12.40), X-Plane 11 (11.55).

Finally, Brazil got the ground texture updates that have been around for years on Bing Maps, but the brightness and saturation don’t seem to have been adjusted right (I’m just talking about MSFS2020)... but the terrain mesh really improved a lot in the area where I usually fly. I think they used way more accurate data than before.

LOL. That's probably what he means because this doesn't look as good as my 2020:

Is Jörg's gang dropped an idea to make all content downloadable in MSFS2024?

No. It just hasn’t been added yet

Flying from SPSB to SBUR ar FL140. Looks pretty good.

Any thoughts on MSFS24 compatible airport sceneries for Sao Paulo and Brasilia to fly some air bridge flights from the included SBRJ?  This is not an area of the world I’ve previously flown in so not sure what’s available, what’s great, what to avoid etc.

Just checked and it's $3.50 for an excellent rendition of SBGR.

However, it has too much internal detail for my liking. Specially when SBGR receives A380 service regularly.

Well, it was just $3.49, so I gave it a try. It was too cheap to resist. Looks OK. At least, better than the freeware I had, but the ramp textures ended up too blurry.

Changing topic a bit: has anybody been able to use WU19 with Paulo Ricardo SBRJ, without getting double lines at SBRJ?

I flew into SBRJ about an hour ago. It looked OK to me.  I did notice that the taxi lines seemed to me missing in spots.

Have to say, and this is just my opinion, because is not something that's better or worst, but something you like better or not, the WU19 is excellent. The TIN photogrammetry of Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo and Brazilia are very sharp and dense, and surpassed all my initial expectations. Maybe the only flaws are in RDJ, where the Niteroi-Rio bridge is mostly not visible (and will need a patch) and, less important to me, is the lack of the cable car at the Sugar Loaf. The SBRJ Santos Dumont airport is also very well done (haven't tested the others yet).

In SBSP (Congonhas airport, Sao Paulo), the monument located at the left side , close to the end of RWY 35L, in memory of the victims of the fatal accident of a TAM's A320 back in 2007 is very well rendered. This I suppose has been added as a POI in the WU19, as it was not part of my Congonhas before.

Really want to hear the opinions from our foes from Brazil, nice country.

So add me to the list who has never gone into Marketplace but always gone straight to Content Manager for my updates...

Content Manager shows me what's available to install as well as what's not installed and what's available to update.  It's how I realized that I missed some (a lot) of the updates and then installed them without ever going to marketplace...

I have never had to "purchase" a free update in marketplace to get it in content manager.

Have a Wonderful Day

It may be worth mentioning that SYKA Guyana’s Kaieteur International Airport  is actually PSKA in MSFS2024 if anyone has tried to find it.
