Update:

Second run and so far 2 hours into LFBO-VTBS and almost all good again. I did a restart of PC and started up from scratch again.

I am at cruise now and i notice two things.

1. OIS Ground is still flashing all the time on both sides - even when i restarted GSX on ground (because it wouldnt allow to pushback before a restart) GSX is disabled in the OIS btw.

2. Very bad stutters when looking on the left OIS screen

Otherwise it seems like a nice update

UPDATE: Circling GSX control off/on from OIS seems to have a positive effect on both sides of flashing and performance

the reason it refuse the push back is due it thinks the gpu is still connected, you need to go to ground gsx and click other  than click dismiss gpu, took me  awhile to work this one out, this might the reason why the ground is flashing orange

The shocking thing is to see the Big correction notes of the eighth patch....I still don't understand the little shame that these people have to launch a product in this state as finished and at the price they have done it.

Well, Msobo is far more guilty, for what they unleashed in November 2024, release of infamy. A day of war against simmers.

Well i properly will agree that the price is a bit on the high end but the product and so far the updates thats comming out is really great.

Also i am rather amazed on performance with my old I7-4770@4,5 /GTX1080TI .

I know FPS is limit to 25(VSYNC with TV)  but LOD/TLOD at 100/50 at cruize and LOD30/TLOD 50 on ground is quite good.

My eyes has adapted offcause

With update beta and this update cannot start the plane. Ground power switch doesn't work as do neither the switches. Re-started same problem. Also fps sucks.

The amount of updates and fixes that come out basically every other week tells me that this was a totally overpriced beta release.

I'm glad that they work so hard to correct behaviour, iron out bugs etc. But this should all have happened way before release when you want to play in that price category.

Much can be said about PMDG and their endless testing cycles, but they at least release products in a state that warrant the price and do not need fixes in the 8th service update since release like this: GLS: Arrival page not displaying LS and FREQ/CHAN

Inibuilds said on their Forum that they don't recommend using the SU Beta with their product.

That's exactly why PMDG and I fly haven't released a 2024 version yet. They don't want to be constantly releasing updates when Asobo is constantly breaking things with every SU. Inibuild rolled the dice hoping their A350 release would work with the SU1, but later found out that it wouldn't and have to keep releasing fixes to keep it customers happy and the aircraft flying. I appreciate the work Inibuild put in to keep their plane working. A good example is the last  Asobo 1.4.14 that they themselves recalled and ask simmers not to use until they corrected it. I feel sorry for developers trying to keep up their products.

My controls froze 2 hours into a flight last night (1.08), and that's not the first time.  Two days ago the retard announcement would not shut off on landing, then the nosewheel steering malfunctioned and the sim crashed (1.07)  FPS is still horrible, especially at places like EGGL, YYBN.  Their fuel/passenger loading app on the EFB works but is very basic.  I delete the WASM everytime there is a new update but it makes no difference.  (I run  a 3080ti at 1440 rez).  I'm sorry I ever bought it.

The Fenix a320 is my go to airbus.  Great frames, consistent 40fps, and I have never had a problem.

Never experience those issues with the A350. I don't watch frame rates and judge whether a aircraft is good or not. If I get smooth operations, who cares about framerates. Even the Fenix will eat resources depending on the area you fly in. I completed a flight in the A350 from KATL to KSLC and it flew like a charm from TO to touch down.

I can only agree wholeheartedly.

I have had very few issues with this aircraft since its release.  If the aircraft is as bad as some having trouble suggest the whole user base would be complaining about the same issues. I have completed many a long-haul flight up to 18 hours successfully and the aircraft performed as good at the end as at the start.

Seems to me a lot of complaints are probably system specific.

This kind of stuff (crashes etc) is why I am waiting a bit more for A350 to "mature" and work out some of these issues before I acquire. I do have my little 350 fix in XP12 via FlightFactor - yes, it's not as good as what this will EVENTUALLY be, but... I can wait a bit more. I am much more interested in getting that iFly MAX and my PMDG fleet in there first.

Sure, that's why they have 8 patches with endless lists of corrections because everything is perfect and they work so hard because deep down they are masochists. 🤣

I manage to complete LFBO-VTBS almost 11hours after a restart of PC and did not use the GSX load payload option in the OIS.

I noticed the first time only passengers was loaded , not fuel so had to manually adjust that. Always an option for conflicts i guess.
