  • No issue here. Try reinstalling.    the 2020 one isn't higher resolution, it just has a detail map applied to it.    No they didn't, it was delayed.    No they're n

LOD issues (like scenery randomly popping in and out) is a major bug that's been reported on the 2024 dev forums.   IMHO what happened is that Asobo made LOD too aggressive to support Xbox.  Ther

Well, this one was expected, however I'm worrying if new EGKK gets MSFS2020 treatment.

it came out as I was starting a flight, so I haven't had chance to test it yet, but looks good

Ini's airports are really good. I'd been debating their Heathrow for quite a while, since I own the Premium Deluxe edition of MSFS which included a handcrafted Heathrow which wasn't bad.

But I decided yesterday to go for it and I was very pleased I did. It's so much nicer than the handcrafted Asobo version of the airport and even seems to perform a bit better too.

Might pick this one up as well after pay day.

AI planes are essentially dead or ugly looking in SU2 Beta, so who needs those empty, but beautiful airports in MSFS2024? I don't know.

Someone needs to test ILS 22L. In the 2020 version, there were some serious issues there with the iniBuilds JFK. Hopefully they've fixed it for 2024.

Use a different AI provider

And not everyone cares about AI you know. I'm sure there's a bunch of people here that don't fly with AI, or use VATSIM instead.

what were the issues?

I had terrain issues with MS2020 version (I think it was on 22L) and awful FS2004 style textures on the taxiway “bridges” over roads.  I posted on their discord and got no response.

Would be keen to know if that’s resolved before I upgrade.

according to comments in that thread it was also happening with the default JFK, and also in P3D.

Seems to be a conflict with another runway at JFK that uses the same frequency.

So sounds more like a sim issue than a scenery issue.

They already stated no more new airports for MS2020. They’re trying anything they can to get everybody to go to 2024.

It's just easier to focus on a single simulator, especially one that has big differences between how assets are rendered that aren't backwards compatible.

All of PMDG's future products after B777-200 are also going to be 2024 only, so ini isn't alone in this.

Ini Heathrow 2024 Premium has some LOD issues (ie very late loading buildings when you're right on them) that the discord says are Asobo related right now.

eh i was able to rectify GSX's "Asobo" LOD issues by manually bumping up the OLOD to 1000, so that probably fixed the late loading of buildings for me too, but i realize thats not good enough for everyone...

@RNAV19R, I just flew the ILS 22L with the Learjet 35A at IniBuilds KJFK Enhanced for FS2024 and had no problem. LOC, GS and DME signal stable all the way down 😉

Edit: This is with FS2024 v1.3.23.0 SU1 (I don't use beta versions)
