Where to fly Next

Featured Replies

With thousands and thousands of airports in MSFS, I have started using this program to suggest places to fly. I have set the start at the one I am using iFly Schedule.

Now that's a great video haha.

I love using iflyschedules.

Super simple and holds a bunch of flights when I really get flyers block.

For VFR GA Flyers check out Flytolunch.  I usually enter one of my premium airports or the last airport I parked at.  Only for the USA.  Maybe other countries have similar websites.

@iFlySimX has made a great tool.

I have made spread sheets for every continent and plan to fly to every country using real world flights. Depending on my mood and time available I choose where to fly that day.

I also have spreadsheets for each type I own to do a round the world trip with it.

Thats how I choose where to fly.

I flew with A Pilots lIfe V2 for well over 1,000 flights. What bothered me about it was the inability to vary my flights and more than that, it was difficult to switch airlines easily. In two weeks, I have about 40 flights already with iFly scheduler, and can move from airline to airline very easily. And I don't have to fly the same routes all the time, which kept happening with A Pilots life.

Did you ever use the Tools option in APL?  That's all I use now in APL and it does the same thing:  can enter any airline ICAO, any departure and/or arrival, and what *should* have been in its regular schedule generator is the ability to put in miles or time ranges, so very complete for a RW route scheduler.

Yes I did, but then you don't get any credit for the flight, so I didn't see the point of it. The other issued that just recently came up is that the developer is abandoning the app, so the various bugs and suggestions will never be fixed. Getting 100% on every flight just became meaningless after awhile.

I use the in game flight generator under "tools" in APL v2.  You don't have to belong to the airline to fly the route and get scored on it.

I have same issue with APL as Bob has. Under tools you can fly all you want, but it doesn't give you credit toward next rank or money which defeats the whole concept of APL

Wow! Just took a look at this and was able to get a few really nice flight suggestions in just a few mins.

First was in Alaska, so that's bound to be stunningly beautiful.

Interestingly, one of them was a short flight between two Chinese military airports! Not sure what the "mission" is, but now I've got to find out! 😎

THANK YOU, @Bobsk8!

....assuming that you can avoid the areas with generic default textures instead of Bing images

No commercials for a VA but my way of flying has changed a lot since I fly with Walker Virtual Airlines.

You allways start where you ended your last flight and then you can choose a next destination from there via either charter, scheduled or cargo.

It has this real adventure feeling because I allways like to choose new airports to fly instead of to the same airport over and over again.

Well, it's probably not any worse than X-Plane default...😉

I guess that'll be part of the adventure 🤙
