Everyone has individual limits as to the bugs they can and cannot tolerate or the third party addons that they can and cannot do without. So asking about that is purely an individual thing. What i can say is that it appears that MSOBO is working to right the ship so that people (like me who would not switch initially) will eventually do so in a couple of service updates. So if you plan to remain in the MSFS ecosystem getting the sim now would not be a complete waste of time. You can still get your feet wet and figure out the new quirks and features. You can try MSFS 2024 for $1 USD if you never subscribed to Gamepass before, and end the subscription before you are charged for the second month. Gamepass holders also get a discount on buying games, IIRC 10%. So even at full price it is worth signing up to gamepass for a month before buying msfs.
