  1. If you don't mind losing your logbook, etc , you could give this a try https://flightsimulator.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/17060350083612-How-to-delete-a-cloud-save-to-fix-some-loading-or-crashing-issues-Crashing-on-the-identity-screen-spawning-inside-buildings
  2. So, does this mean BATC thinks you've joined the circuit? Was there any trigger for this?
  3. Biggest problem I have in VATSIM is when controllers give 3+ commands all stringed together. Even writing them down quick enough to read back is hard. But Im a beginner at VATSIM, so I assume it's a skill and it will get easier over time. Great feeling during and after a flight with VATSIM. 😀
  4. Or just buy from the Marketplace as the first choice.
  5. Hopefully Asbo knows all the complaining people make at every livestream is the vast minority and most people genuinely appreciate hearing from them.
  6. For me, making sure the sound outputs and microphone was configured to the same device in the sim settings helped a lot with this.
  7. They released another update only 15 days ago.
  8. You have the choice: On your Windows PC/Xbox, launch the Xbox Insider Hub app. Navigate to Previews > Microsoft Flight Simulator Beta. Select Manage > Leave preview, and select Continue when prompted. Wait for the unenrollment to complete, then restart your Xbox/PC. Launch Microsoft Flight Simulator and you’ll be prompted to update (if an update is available).
  9. 2024 all the way for me! But I'm missing the Majestic Q400 so much these days that I am tempted to install P3D, which I haven't had since 2020 was released.
  10. Does anyone know how long the dicount will be around for? With the discount, it works out to be $45 in Australian dollars. That's how much I spend on coffee over 2 weeks - and I aint going without coffee for 2 weeks! Looks like a must buy, even for an Airbus tragic like me. 🙂
  11. Spot on - too many subscriptions these days. They add up big time. I got rid of all mine, except Navigraph, and I'm considering not renewing that either.
  12. It would be great in complex addons if you could go a page in the FMC/MCDU/tablet and it will give a reason for the most recent autopilot disconnect. Would help iron out any possible bugs or usability issues.
  13. Installed Oasis. Had a hiccup getting it working, but the "Clearing Environment data, 2nd attempt" proceedure from the troubleshooting guide did it for me. https://github.com/mbucchia/Oasis-Driver-for-Windows-Mixed-Reality/wiki/Troubleshooting-Guide Finally was able to update my Windows 11 to the latest build and have it working with my HR Reverb G2. Huge thanks to Matthieu Bucchianeri!!!!
  14. I fixed my audio stutters by selecting the same device in the Main Device and Communications device setting in the sim.
  15. I'd love an option that says "Turn off static and non-static aircraft when connected to an online virtual network" or APIs to turn off static and non-static aircraft, etc.
  16. The thing that makes a difference to MSFS than previous is the in-game store, which brings constant revenue in - and the missions, tutorials, etc, which give a good path to casual gamers becoming flight simmers. XBOX subscriptions also opens the door for people to give the sim a go. We are also seeing more and more hi-fidelity aircraft coming into the store these days, which is also a good boost. Cheers.
  17. When they gave us the ability to install locally, I downloaded everything. Now, I have only the country, airports and planes I usually fly in installed locally. Everything else is streamed. Even then, I'm probably going to move to streaming only again. Too much hassle to keep it all up to date + love the disk space.
  18. Can planes import the latest Navdata cycle straight from MSFS? If so, are there any 3rd Party aircraft that do this? Cheers.
  19. Same - just left the beta a few days ago due to the CTDs. Will see how this one settles (but looking goo so far!)
  20. Maybe, perhaps, there's more than 1 person developing the A350 and the HUD is being developed by another person?! 😉
  21. Whoa! I didn't know that. How is the G2 going to keep working in MSFS with VMR retiring? Cheers.
  22. I've ditched Spad.Next now that I can configure different profiles with auto assignments directly in FS2024. It works pretty well. The annoying part is the inital learning curve. The program should have an in-game walkthrough and tutorial of the control settings interface.
  23. Yep. Same with iniBuild A350. Don't like it personally, but I suppose it means it'll work on Xbox. So I can live with that. 👍
  24. I personally prefer the hub than doing it in game. I have a folder on my desktop of all the programs used to update various items. Just open them all at once and do updates. Much easier than remembering to do it after the plane has loaded, For me, anyway, Cheers.
