It happens to some, but it also seems the majority of users, including me, have never experienced it. Out of curiosity; why do you (and others for that matter) only keep focusing on the negatives? MSFS 2024 really isn't as bad as some of us here try to paint it. Cheers, Bert AMD Ryzen 5900X, 32 GB RAM, RTX 3080 Ti, Windows 11 Home 64 bit, MSFS 2024

Have you personally asked the "majority of users," or are you just making up "facts"? 😉

From me! Likewise does @Rimshot It is naive anyway to think, that the majority of users is not able to use the sim. Latest information we got from the dev stream, is that there are as many people on 2024 as are on 2020.

For every problem or bug reported, there are always replies of folks who share not to experience that bug. How many times have you replied, to someone posting a problem, that you have never experienced it? So would you call their problem common as well? 2 hours ago, Rimshot said: Out of curiosity; why do you (and others for that matter) only keep focusing on the negatives? And try not to use the word 'restaurant' 😁 Cheers, Bert AMD Ryzen 5900X, 32 GB RAM, RTX 3080 Ti, Windows 11 Home 64 bit, MSFS 2024

Yeah, well Steam says that 2020 still beats 2024 by twice, and they have no axe to grind like Asobo.
May 23, 20251 yr Maybe we should redo this thread with a better title and the personality / ego baloney removed. The thread will then be 1 or 2 pages and then have a better chance of making a better sim. dd

I've never had any control bindings disappear, and I've never had any stutters on short final. So, there's another useless data point against your statements about how bad 2024 is. May 23, 20251 yr I've never had any control settings disappear in 2024 (so far), nor have I experienced stutters on short final. Am I happy with 2024? No, but neither with 2020, the latter is quite stable, yes, but I have better performance in 2024 compared to 2020, go figure. I would rather just fly 2024 in its current state and wait for it to mature, no difference than what I had to endure when 2020 was released, the story repeats itself. We are comparing a sim that's been out for 5 years to one that just came out of the oven, kind of ridiculous and unfair to the developers. Steam is one of the least reliable indicators of MSFS use metrics,.or flight sim in general. Like, how does Prepar3D rate on Steam...? So many user demographic diversions already shared across so many posts... Should be easy to see just by the fact that there are exactly 0% Xbox users on Steam, whereas they make up nearly 50% of the MSFS user base. But that's not all, pretty much every flight sim developer has, at one time or another, said that their primary user base is NOT on Steam. Let go of the Steam metrics. Way too skewed.

Steam was the only way I could successfully install MSFS 2024. MS store approach failed, hence my refund and went the Steam approach.

So give me what your opinion as being more accurate, and telling me that the company that is trying to promote their latest product, doesn't count.
