May 23, 20251 yr The planned SU16 is showing some promise. As discussed in the live stream with Lionel. However no mention whatsoever of FSR3 or FSR4. I think it's not good enough. http://youtube.com/c/Greazer

May 23, 20251 yr at least I saw "aggressive LOD handling" mentioned. - Harry 9800x3D (Strix x870e-E) - 64GB RAM (DDR5 6000, CL 30) - RTX 5090, 34'' 1440p OLED HDR - Windows 11 Pro (1TB M.2) - MSFS 2024 (MS Store, 4TB M.2).

Several months after release, and their second major sim release, and we have taxi signs popping in 10 feet away, AI aicraft that are quite frankly a mess, and no end in sight?

Absolutely for me it's currently 'good enough' to do what I've done with MSFS going on 5 years now: choose a route in Simbrief, use the fabulous import tools available to get the OFP into the airliners or light jets I'm using. Next, we load up Self Loading Cargo and BATC and have gorgeous flights from gate to gate with nary any issues in either sim. I'm loving performance in 2024 as I'm able to get rid of the heinous artifacts associated w/ FG when using 2 screens as I'm able to maintain 50fps with maxed out everything, in largest part. Am I aware of its current shortcomings like the ones you've mentioned? For starters, I never see 'taxi signs popping up 10 feet away'. That is either a gross exaggeration or something is gravely wrong with how you're configured. I use FSLTL, so whatever is amiss w/ AI aircraft is not relevant here. Your 'no end in sight' is exactly the same warped view coming out of Greazer. You have no idea what's in sight nor do your buddies Greazer, Bobcat999 and a few others looking only at what's wrong w/ these two amazing sims. I'm very good at using what works well and waiting for improvements in what doesn't. Lately I've been just digging simple default planes like the Longitude and mind-blowing imagery this morning out of KPSP at dawn, just breathtakingly real with stunning performance in the AS CRJ700. Putting it where the goats can get it: for every one defect in MSFS 2020 or 2024 there are a things done very right and those, are ignored by usual suspects, yourself included. Ok, I will be sure to tell everyone over the official forums and reddit users who experience the same thing that we are all setup incorrectly. Edited May 23, 20251 yr by Ianrivaldosmith

May 23, 20251 yr One thing I did notice was a common theme of we have a lot of bugs to fix before we start taking on new features. Obviously some nice new stuff from WT/Asobo, but they are also working on Boeing bug fixes and will have an art team to fix model issues. WT are also working on incremental ATC/AI improvements. I also liked the substitution of WT's Chris Burnett for Martial
