Not much going on, i wonder if we're near a release. Maybe not because of those issues with slowdown etc.

Anyone else having issues with the External Drone Camera crashing their plane when using it? There was one bug report so I added to it, but normally many people would contribute if widespread. This update doesn’t appear to have fixed it.

They are trying to fix the performance issues, and stuttering, near airports. Until they fix it, I doubt SU3 will be released. Otherwise, if the issue isn't fixed, they repeat the same process in SU4 again, and the time they spent in SU3 trying to fix it, becomes a waste of time.

Constant CTD when entering "free flight" with this build.

Not being well received on the beta forum.  2 steps forward, 17 back.

1.5.9.0 is looking great… however a lot of my third party planes I now have the avatar sticking outside the aircraft like the early versions .

I’ve got double warning annunciators,

I’m also getting double annunciators in the TBM 930 with the 1.5.9.0 beta release.

So I got rid of every single add-on, including all of Navigraph, and tried again with the C172 G1000.

I’ve got double warning annunciators, it’s over cast here at KSZP and the instrument panel lighting is invisible even at full brightness, the autopilot annunciators are not working, the autopilot “engages” (I can hear the disengage audible warning when I disconnect it) but it doesn’t work. HDG mode isn’t engaging, there are no purple annunciators at the top of the display. When I cycle the CDI from GPS, it goes to VOR2 first, then briefly flashes the purple GPS needle as it switches to VOR1?? When did that change?

What is going on here? I have a vanilla install with the most default of aircraft.

I give up, where’s 2020?

Haven’t gotten in the air yet, sitting on the ground at KVCT for a bit, but noticed the auto-start keybind for C700 Longitude doesn’t work fully anymore. Have to manually start up both engines. I get these notifications on the PFD.

Also the EDB doesn’t seem to send the full flight plan to the avionics on the first try. I’ll send to avionics, and when I’m initializing everything, the arrival and destination aren’t in there. I have to open up the EFB and select “send to avionics” again.

We have some regressions so far. I am about to test out the autopilot to see if that all works, or if I’ll be having issues like many others.

I did notice when I requested my IFR clearance, ATC now tells me to go to 5,000’ and then to expect to go up to FL240 approximately 10 minutes after departure. That’s new.

Hi all,

Appreciate the feedback/issue reported here on the latest build. A reminder that if you have the time, to create bug reports in the respective areas for what you are seeing so we can track everything separately. We appreciate all feedback regardless. Thanks for participating in the Beta.

Cheers!

Yeah, they totally borked it with this update. Hopped in the Cub and visually the throttle would move but it did not increase power. So tried to restart the flight and it froze up and I can’t exit the sim so hard reboot.

I'm glad I left this one alone.

Meaning SU3 or this update?  If this update please give me secret to avoid the forced download the minute you connect.  TIA,

Dude, I did not say that, I quoted it.  You seem a bit reading challenged.

Try quoting next time??

You’re a hostile little fellow, ain’t ya.

Left my stuttery Gatwick, terrain looked mushy and low res over Sussex and northern France.  Quit and will fire up 2020 over the weekend.

(Not complaining.  I know it's a beta.  But I haven't had one great flight in 2024 yet.  I still try every so often)
