    Why do you want someone else to dislike the sim? You don't like it, that's cool. But if someone else does, why does that bother you? Maybe they like to fly where they are, and like how it looks.

AI air traffic lights are a lot better in SU3

Enabling new LOD mode gives 20% more CPU load for me. Interesting enough. And no any additional load for GPU.

Do you have Dynamic Settings on?  Dynamic Settings is MSFS 2024's version of dynamic FPS, or Auto FPS.  Turn off Dynamic Settings to improve your ground textures, but it can lead to more stutters, that's the trade off.  If you get stutters after you turned Dynamic Settings off, then your graphics settings are too high and you need to lower them.

What does is that mean exactly?

What is "LOD curve to keep a parabole Screen Size 100%" and "new curve by default"?

I have been a simulation flyer since 1987 (I'm 75 years old!). I think I have some experience in flight simulator, but I'm not a computer technician at all! 

I think these things must be explained in plain words, don't you think? At least for people like me.

If you had read through all the answers in this thread you would have seen that your question was already answered.

Just updated and the look of the lighting and atmosphere looks improved.

I rolled back again to SU2.

For me the sound stutter got introduced since su3 beta.

Everytime I pan camera with same lod settings as Su2 a stutter with accompanied noise lag/crackling. On landing all the same, stutters intensify from 10nm out or so with addon scenery.

Flying the Fenix busses almost solely to test fs2024 currently.

*Nobody mentioned the pretty good model matching native realtime AI traffic with fsltl models, I mention it once again. No more generic and Avianca traffic in Europe.

Drawback still are the strange AI behaviour on taxi and landing. But fsltl injector does that on landing all the same anyway.

Indeed lighting/reflections/dawn dusk are far superior in SU3 I consent.

Fenix is not officially supported in FS2024. So i suggest not trying to benchmark with it.

I know, still my fav in SU2 it works great.
