July 11, 2025Jul 11 I'm potentially interested in this but after ini's previous attempt to create twin-turbo prop in the Mu-2 I'm going to need to see some reviews.

Personally, I'm going to save my money and wait on the releases BlackSquare have in the pipeline but ymmv....
July 12, 2025Jul 12 I thought it looked great from the preview and streamer vids I saw. I plan on getting it but agree it would be nice to get a few reviews here first. I like that they chose this aircraft, like a utility version of the duke turbine. AMD 5830X Nvidia RTX 3060 Win 11
July 12, 2025Jul 12 $27 … seems almost too cheap … would love to know systems depth … 230mph cruise is nice, would hit that 1-2 hr flight time ranges I like. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. - Carl Sagan
July 12, 2025Jul 12 Well darn, tried both iniManager and iniBuilds website store to purchase and in both cases all I get is a spinning circle. Bummer. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. - Carl Sagan
July 13, 2025Jul 13 Has anyone got into this properly? Given its price and developer I can't say I hold out a huge amount of hope - I was hoping this would be a really detailed aircraft simulation rather than just a career mode game add-on. A

I purchased yesterday on the website and installed through the iniManager. I could never purchase anything through the ini Manager. I plan on taking it out for a spin later today but staying optimistic on the operations and performance. I'd be really interested. John. A
July 13, 2025Jul 13 Moderator I bought it. If I could get a refund I'd take it. Lack of documentation and flaky AP system make it an unenjoyable experience. Lastly, I can't quite put my finger on it but the panel gauges look strange, seem slightly distorted as compared to other a/c. When and if they have the initial patch, I'll revisit but for now - back on the shelf. The A2A Aerostar is a pre release and IMHO it's far better than this. EDIT: ok, I was in a bad mood - unfair critique. Finally figured out how to get some systems working and it's not as frustrating. Still think it needs some work but I wouldn't ask for a refund. July 13, 2025Jul 13 I've bought it, perfect type of plane for me. I haven't noticed any distortion to the instruments. Only used basic AP functions, flying 'direct to' after t/o the hand flying the landing, and it followed the route well. Handling on ground and in the air seem ok to me, feels like it has some weight, so I like that. Trims out well. Sounds are pretty good, to me anyway. In MS2024 the taxi, nav and anti collision lights aren't showing, although switches work. And the radar screen is very dim. In MS2020 lights show, and radar is a bit brighter. Procedures aren't too complex, and there is a checklist in the yoke mounted EFB. So far, after just a couple of flights, I've found it pretty good to fly for not too great a purchase price. NB I'm not a pilot irl and I don't know how technically accurate any sim aircraft are!

Right now, I'm enjoying a cross-country flight in my Max8, in Southwest colors. I love this plane. 275 miles out of LA and having a blast with the last update. July 14, 2025Jul 14 Thanks folks.I just have a strong feeling that even though it's cheap, it's still going to disappoint me. I may well hold off. A
