So your visuals benefit from SSAA and look better. All in one's eye of course, but I'd do that just because I can. no-one else has to of course, but it IS possible if you want to utilise the cards hardware fully for a super AA'd image. I’m assuming you don’t have use external view since you run a full scale cockpit? So you run TAA=200 using two 3840 x 2160 displays … so effective pixel count is 15,360 x 8640? 1 hour ago, ttbq1 said: he is increasing the render scaling to 200 which means something like 8k instead of 4k.. My native single display is only 3440 x 1440 so TAA = 200 is pixel count of 6800 x 2880. All I was demonstrating is that one can exceed 32GB RAM and use 30GB VRAM. But certainly, everyone’s configurations will vary as will RAM and VRAM usage. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. - Carl Sagan

Because they present better image quality … not really subjective, just a fact. The closer your eye is to the display and the larger (Physical) the display, the more the need for higher resolution. Not trying to debate want you do or don’t like nor how you have your system setup. I was just reporting that a truly “maxed” out graphics settings can consume more than 32GB RAM and 30GB VRAM and provide sufficient FPS to enjoy flight. I believe this came about because someone suggested or asked if 32GB RAM is enough and was simply showing that one can exceed 32GB RAM. Not really debating personal preference, what is “good enough”, only the results from monitoring a scenario on my computer of “maxed” out settings with various DLC. Enjoy what you enjoy, all good. It currently is of no use to choose a 8K or 16K tv. Why would you ? There is almost no TV Channel, if any, that broadcasts in 8K. Go outside and look into the distance, Do you see sharp edges from objects ? No, we don’t. I even set sharpness on the 4K Sony Bravia tv’s not to maximum as it makes it too sharp. Regarding MS20/24 : too shatp edges are not realistic, But everyone has his/her choice. 5950x3d 5.4-5.7 GHz - Asus ROG 870 Crosshair Apex - GSkill Neo 2x 24 Gb 6000 mhz / cas 26 - MSI RTX 5090 Gaming Trio OC - 1x SSD M2 6000 2TB - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 1Tb - Corsair 5400 case - Corsair 360 liquid cooling set - 3x 75’ TCL tv. 13600 6 cores @ 5.1 GHz / 8 cores @ 4.0 GHz (hypterthreading on) - Asus ROG Strix Gaming D - GSkill Trident 4x Gb 3200 MHz cas 15 - Asus TUF RTX 4080 16 Gb - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 2TB - 2x Sata 600 SSD 500 Mb - Corsair D4000 Airflow case - NXT Krajen Z63 AIO liquide cooling - FOV : 200 degrees My flightsim vids : https://www.youtube.com/user/fswidesim/videos?shelf_id=0&sort=dd&view=0
