July 25, 2025Jul 25 I just hope it’s stable.  I have no plans on going to 24 for a while because, for me at least 2020 is so incredibly stable.
July 25, 2025Jul 25 I have been using the SU16 Beta since release. Â Stability is not an issue, and many small, subtle yet noticeable changes have been made. Â To those that wait good things come as the saying goes. I believe the waiters will be well pleased. -B

July 25, 2025Jul 25 I'm running the beta (v1.39.9.0). MSFS 2020 has never been better. I run both the Frame Gen and AutoFPS mods, I have rBar turned on, and my average fps is 45/50 everywhere, including EGLL, EGKK and EHAM. July 25, 2025Jul 25 Unfortunately this " update" seems to have messed up the Map Enhancement tool that 512 High LOD textures do not work anymore ( confirmed by the developer). Maybe Asobo caught on to this and decided to drop the hammer down 😞 Maybe that was the cause of all the server issues the pop up from time to time . the extra LOD textures overloading their servers Edited July 25, 2025Jul 25 by planechaser

July 25, 2025Jul 25 Maybe the MSFS2024 map that SU16 is getting is already at higher resolution. Â I noticed that a bit when testingÂ
July 25, 2025Jul 25 I've been struggling with the map enhancement. Although it delivers higher clarity at distance, it also makes the entirity of the UK a dry, yellow colour (which it is at the moment, but not normally). It also makes Cape Town a dry desert surrounded by a distinct line of green terrain.  I'm not sure if that's how it's supposed to be, but it isn't really worth the trade off.  I'm guessing MSFS 2020 corrects the colour, and MSFS 2024 applies seasonal colours? If so, why would anyone use Map enhancment tool?   Â
