  • Don't forget to flash the router back to defaults.

What exactly do they mean by a "full clean installation"?

Uninstall, delete all the folders associated with 24. Then reinstall.

If one does this, make sure you grab the throttle config files from the INI birds to back them up. They are in WASM folder.

I already uninstalled 2024 some time ago in order to intall fresh SU3.

Do they really want everyone who bought 24 to un- and reinstall the complete sim for the official SU 3 ?

Or is it simply renaning the Community folder and use a new empty one when installing this beta 23.

The last time I did this, instead of the latest BETA, I ended with a reinstall of the release version.

I then had to reinstall the latest BETA. Is this what to expect, or should I expect the newest BETA when I uninstall my current BETA?

I don't want to mess things up, as Version 21 has been the best-performing version of MSFS2024 I have experienced.

What is the procedure to do this please and thank you.

I'm the wrong person to ask because I have a vanilla install.  Remove 2024 through Windows then reinstall from Windows Store for me.

I’m on PC Steam. I just uninstalled the Beta, rebooted my PC, and then re-entered the Beta. Everything is working great so far! I figured it was worth doing this first and if I encountered issues then I would do a clean install.

Did they mean a complete sim install or just the beta?

It is not so much about how it installs but how it runs with server changes I'm guessing.

Yeah, but I wanted to avoid a full install for now and see if this method would work for me. I’ll do a clean install when SU3 is officially released, unless I encounter before then. But so far so good!

Ya know... I didn't even think of that.

I think ill let the sim update and see if i have any issues after that... if so, then a reinstall which only takes a few minutes... being sure to back up my config files etc....
