August 6, 2025Aug 6 2024 and its beta is not like 2020. Not anywhere near the content to download and install. It mostly streams. I understand and agree with the serious concern about settings and hardware profiles. Asobo should certainly provide more instructions and stated assurances with instruction sets like what was provided. It is why I begged off of MSFS betas. I do not get as much time as I like to fly. Do not need to consume that time with repetitive work on settings. Badly wish some method of local system backup of those elements would be put in place. August 6, 2025Aug 6 From what I'm seeing others are saying online, the "regular" reinstall to see the difference in performance. You don't have to mess with the content folder. So just uninstall and redownload. @SeedyL Can you provide some clarity on what you guys mean by a full reinstall? There's a lot of confusion about it online. August 6, 2025Aug 6 I wonder if this will be the release candidate? Everything running beautifully right now and MSFS2020 has just had SU16 drop. France is about to go on holiday for three weeks. I think they'll want to get this sewn up as quickly as possible now so they can hit the beach....

August 6, 2025Aug 6 Delete my Rolling Cache, with an empty community folder, this new Beta is smoother even without reinstalling the sim.
