I spotted the update late last night, so I only had a chance to do a quick test about midnight last night, and it did seem better. Basically back to where I was (happy) when I first changed to FSR3 Frame Generation, but maybe a bit of a LOD drop off, which may be how they are getting the performance. I will test more tonight, plus I have a full day off tomorrow when I want to try a few things in the sim, and see where the limits now are for my PC, then dial it back a bit if I reach any. I will turn the VRAM warning back on and see if it still triggers. Mine started stuttering quite badly when this started popping up (which is to be expected if I was out of VRAM). The point I was making previously was that before SU3 .21, I never had stutters and I had never seen the GPU / VRAM popup before, and this is with exactly the same scenarios and same settings that I was using previously, so I think they accidentally changed something in .21 that made the VRAM situation a bit worse. Looks like it is possibly back to as it was before now. All going in the right direction. *Note* For this, I deleted the rolling cache, but I haven't reinstalled yet as they are asking. I will consider it, but I would prefer to do that when they formally release SU3 really, as something always seems to go wrong or settings go missing etc. Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio. Left or right one? 😅 BTW, when I reinstall fs2024, i usually backup AppData\Local\packages\limitles....\LocalCache and LocalState directory. Launch sim once, close it, and copy back files from backup (usercfg, pmdg\auirbus throttle settings etc). Matter of 2 minutes and sim is running perfectly without having to mess with settings again. Latest beta running absolutely fine for the moment, no stuttering anymore. Edited August 7, 2025Aug 7 by ConairMSFS

August 7, 2025Aug 7 Updated without doing any of the normal deleting of the cache etc etc. All panning stutters for me are gone in the couple of test's I have done in the Fenix With SI traffic running. Finally the sim is enjoyable now, The previous panning stutters were unbearable to deal with for me. --Sean Hart
August 7, 2025Aug 7 Hi everyone, In order to update to latest beta 1.5.23 I uninstalled MSFS 2024 using the Xbox app and reinstalled it through the same method. On the first launch, it synced my cloud settings and retained most of them including controls and other preferences but the graphics settings were not restored from the cloud. Also, my third-party aircraft are no longer showing up in the sim. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated! Thanks and regards,
August 7, 2025Aug 7 I went through the same. You have to select your community folder custom location. You can do this in Marketplace / My Library o via the user.cfg file. I also lost my exe.xml and i had to select all the graphic options. Good learning 🙂

I did a clean install of SU3 and I can see there are improvements to the stutters but I still get them a plenty at Heathrow (inibuilds and Gaya default) in the fenix. Hopefully further improvements can be made. i7 12700K , DDR4 64GB RAM @3600MHz, Asus Z690-Plus D4 MB, Gainward 4090 RTX Graphics, 850W Corsair PSU, Kraken AIO watercooler, Nvme 1TB ssd, 1TB ssd, 500GB ssd.
August 7, 2025Aug 7 Overall positive but still getting stutters and 100% CPU spikes in heavy PG areas.
August 7, 2025Aug 7 I noticed both a performance increase (panning); more planes and now "parked" cars at some of the smaller airports that did not show in the earlier builds. We are getting there, although I think it will be another another year before we get to where we should have been at launch.
