KATL Updated Previews No.2

Featured Replies

Final previews before release (before you get too excited, the author indicated final touches should take another 4 months and he hopes to release before Christmas) are posted at the link below. Stunning detail and will probably break some sales record with this one. This is right up there, if not surpassing FlightBeam's KSFO.

It's going to be a lot of fun flying out of ATL with the Maddog and the newly-released soundset

Those screenshots...the '24 lighting...we've come a long way from fs2 green and blue...

Sure is, a far cry from Burbank, which was an awful release from Orbx.

Wow an instant one here for sure 🙂

FT KLAS - AS-ENGM - is even better in my opinion than FB KSFO

Funny because Matteo Veneziani also made Burbank.

Burbank 1.0 was so-so but version 2.0 is not that bad for a tiny airport.

I know it's the same guy, but Burbank was bad with very low texturing (even v2) and Atlanta is very buyable (at least from the previews).

I know Burbank well since it's my home airport.

In RL Burbank airport is not much to get all hyped about. I think Orbx gave it some personality.

yeah some of that modelling and texturing looks right out of P3D/FSX. There's no need for baked shadows/ambient occlusion in 2020/2024.

But at least that might mean it's easy on performance.

Yep Burbank v2 is terrible...some of tht textures at the FBOs seem straight out of fsx.

Inbuilds is your friend for DTW and it's pretty solid.
