an awful lot of caveats there unfortunately to stop me getting excited about this, screenshots are poor but it's early days clearly

  • Not looking too good at the moment.😐 That cockpit and cabin look worse than some badly modeled freeware offerings (a certain GL6000 comes to mind on Flightsim.to).😑

trolling, another for the blocklist

It's super early development with this one.

The interior simply needs better textures and colors.

Virtualcol has actually final released far worst interior visuals!

I'm curious why they wouldn't use the Pro Line Fusion stuff upcoming in the 2024 Praetor.  Wouldnt that be more suited to the real Global 7500?

I'm cautiously optimistic with this.  On one hand we really need a long range bizjet.  But from the previews it looks pretty rough... especially in the visuals department.

I really think some guys here need to change hobbies.

Should be easy enough. That’s a pretty low bar.

I don’t own the Citation X, but only because I’m satisfied with the Longitude and PMDG BBJ.

that said, everything I’ve read on the X indicates it strikes a GREAT balance between Fidelity and Price. Pretty much what I hear about their other MSFS addons, as well.

i.e., not every addon needs to be $70 and “study level”.

I would assume that the PLF isn’t yet available to 3PD’s yet…?

Right but maybe they should wait - I think it's scheduled to be out Q4 of this year.

The avionics shown here almost took like part of the old g3000.  Hard to tell though

Gotta be honest - it looks terrible.

Props for the dev who realizes shipping this with a WT G5000 would be a huge mistake but it doesn't look much more developed than that.

This looks more like MScenery than FlightFX...

Clearly there is a lot of custom avionics work being shown off.  (I wonder if the devs are looking at this thread - because I'd feel a bit frustrated at first with the responses if I were a dev).  That being said, I don't know if its the lighting or texturing or what... but the pics do not show off the product in a good way imo.

Fonts and display issues honestly, but unfortunately even if those avionics are perfect, they look like an early days FSX adaptation of default avionics...

Makes me nervous about it... these are really complex avionics and extremely similar to the CSeries/A220 - ok it won't be study level, but how deep is it going to go? Would be disappointing if it's surface level but once you get below that... there's a lot of stuff to code, and a lot of stuff that will be conspicuously missing.

Synaptic A220 seems to be doing a good job of simulating that avionics package - maybe there could be something there.

The crowd here never ceases to disappoint.

- Don't communicate about your upcoming addon? Get destroyed in comments/posts saying you should communicate more.
- Show it off early with the clear stipulations that it needs a lot of work still and not ready until at least some time in 2026? Get destroyed for showing off early work and some really mean spirited comments about the fidelity. Oh, and let's flame some other addons while we are at it.

Some of you should be ashamed. Be happy someone is attempting to make a decent long range business jet and just move on and check it out later when more progress has been made. If it is not for you, just remember... If you ain't got anything good to say, better stay quiet. Instead, you show your nasty nature.

I am happy someone is making an attempt, the model looks fine, just needs a good texture artist to make it shine in sim.

I totally agree. It is nice that the developers announces his work and shows some of it here. Judging can only be done when the final product has arrived. This looks in early stage (graphics wise at least) but it is promising.

In the (possibly unlikely) event that the devs look here for feedback, I'll chip in.

This is, as described, an early look at something that will get a lot more work done before release. And as such I for one would like to encourage it. As long as the visuals get some love betweeen now and release I'll certainly buy it. It can have the systems depth of the Wright Flyer as far as I'm concerned, that sort of thing doesn't bother me. In fact any insistence on following procedures is a no-sale for me. But if it looks good, I'm in.

Ryzen 9 7900X, Corsair H150 AIO cooler, 64 Gb DDR5, Asus X670E Hero m/b, 3090ti, 13Tb NVMe, 8Tb SSD, 16Tb HD, 55" Philips 4k HDR monitor, EVGA 1600w ps, all in Corsair 7000D airflow case. Sims in use - 2020, 2024, XP-12 and -11, FSX/SE, P3Dv4.5 and v5.4. DCS and AFS2 installed but rarely used
