CJSimulations Announce the Global 7500!

Featured Replies

Is it finally time we see an absolute gorgeous LONG RANGE biz jet in the wonderful world of MSFS?!

CJ Simulations announced this in their Discord tonight with the following Statement:

"The third project I want to talk about—also mentioned a while back—is a business jet. This is a very ambitious project with its release date tied to building out the complete avionics, following official manuals. While it will never be a “study-level” aircraft, I’m working hard to implement all the avionics pages, and I’m very clear that I don’t want to ship aircraft that simply copy Asobo or Working Title avionics (e.g., jets with WT3000 garmin Or CJ4 or the Longitude avionics).

This project is based on the Bombardier Global 7500. While there have been no licensing talks with Bombardier, to avoid issues with unauthorized trademark use, this project will—for now—be called CJS GL-7500.

As mentioned, completion is primarily tied to the (quite extensive) internal avionics, developed with close attention to the official manuals. In this case, we’re following the GL6000 FCOM since we don’t have access to the 7500’s; they’re very similar, with minor UI differences. The avionics have been in development for over 8 months, so they’re fairly far along, though there’s still plenty to do. This aircraft could see a release sometime in 2026.

Regarding the 3D model, we’ve acquired a fairly accurate commercial version. As with previous models, it will only serve as a base—we need to correct many 3D aspects (internal buttons/switches and external control surface mechanics like flaps, slats, thrust reversers, and more)"

Let's go!!

  • What?  You and chapstick are way off in this thread.  While the Longitude is a bit more in depth, for the extremely low cost, the C750 from FlightFX is superbly done.  Dillon has been around for quite

The modelling looks good, it's the texturing and material effects that don't look the best.

Agreed. It looks quite similar to some "good XPlane 12 freeware".

Hopefully they'll improve the texturing and material effects, then it might show promise.

No worries VR makes everything look better in stereoscopic 3D.😁

Your headset must be better than mine.🫤 Actually no headset or 4k monitor can cure what I'm seeing in those shots if it looks like that upon release.😣

I'm interested.

I am spectacularly underwhelmed.

Well, let’s hope he can get it somewhere close to the Citation X.

these projects take time, and there’s obviously quite a ways to go yet.

Should be easy enough. That’s a pretty low bar.

Name me a better private jet in it's class🫤 (the 2020 Longitude doesn't have a cabin and the HUD doesn't work in both).

In the real world it's price point is a bargain as well considering the speed both variants can achieve at cruise.💯

From the pics I can't tell if the whole cabin is modeled.🤔

The color of the cockpit/cabin reminds me of the PSS 777 for FS9 (I take it back the PSS cockpit looks better).🫣😄
