  • The sim isn't perfect but gosh it's getting really good. Looks brilliant, performs superbly and a whole stack of great addons working in 24.

  • SU4 Beta is a winner

  • We are definetley heading in the right direction. The clouds, the performance the feel is amazing in these last two builds.

not up on Steam yet

I've found sometimes you have to exit stream and then start back up for new builds to show up if its just been released.

Huge DL for me.  1.5GB+

nah it just hasn't been pushed, I'm looking at SteamDB which tracks steam updates. the Beta branch is public so it can see when it has been updated.

(i did just restart to double check though)

Speaking of fixes, has anyone else noticed that sometimes objects (usually building structures) sometimes render before the haze/visibility layer?  I know P3D had this problem also and I think it was related to an incorrect setting for the objects interior surface which caused it to render in front of the visibility layer.

Object problem, Z accuracy problem, render problem, something else, or just me ;)?

still stuttering when ATC window is opened and huge stutters on landing and take off

It's available on Steam now.

I saw a screenshot where the nose lifts on the 747 for cargo.

This was done in 1.6.15.0 but yes. It has sounds too. I think it moves about twice as fast as IRL based on videos I can find online.

I forgot to update the DLSS DLL and noticed I had great performance/no-stutter/no-out-of-vram-warning with the default DLSS v310.1 😉

Hi,

Thank you, Vincent!

That's a surprise.

I always thought that DLSS v3.10.4 was better!

In fact, I always replace the DLSS files with the newest version, but this time...

Wait and see.

Greetings

I don't think this is getting fixed this beta period, if Seb has already worked in this area then you'd think it's done for now 😐 maybe it'll be revisited in SU5.

Main thing for me is still no mouse/controller VR fix 🤔, this is worrying now as we're clearly getting closer to release and they still haven't dealt with it 🤨

Saitek X45 HOTAS - Saitek Pro Rudder Pedals - Logitech Flight Yoke - Homemade 3 Button & 8-directional Joystick Box, SNES Controller (used as a Button Box - Additional USB Numpad (used as a Button Box)

Huge stutters on landing or take off would seem to be a rather important issue to fix??
