@everyone

FSLTL Base Models 1.6 available in FBW installer

(please close MSFS before updating)

  • Added A306/F,
  • Added B734/F,
  • Added B744 (pax),
  • Added B78X,

Liveries:

  • Over 130 new or improved liveries,
  • Expanded Historical liveries for Vatsim users on popular older model types (e.g. A343),
  • Added Vatsim Worldflight 2025 Team liveries,

Refreshed .vmr file for VATSIM

  • Added B773 to VMR generator script,

Lighting:

  • Added new lighting control to allow taxi lights to be visible at all times for active aircraft and runway turnoff lights to be on at night and in certain weather conditions
  • Applies to A306/A306F/A359/B734/B734F/B744 models, will be expanded in the future,

Model changes & fixes:

  • A359:  Fix main wheel roll animation,
  • B733:  Fix missing windows; optimize animations,
  • E190:  Rebuild to (hopefully) fix landing issues; add steering animation,
  • MD11:  Rebuilt light config and animations,
  • Added missing dome options to A320 & B738

NOTE:  Some liveries may show all available domes until liveries are updated,

Sounds:

  • All sound packages have been rebuilt with a lower priority (85 vs 100)
  • This will hopefully help with AI sounds overriding sounds from some 3rd party user-flown aircraft,

Livery list on the website has been updated.

NOTE:  Due to required changes in our build process, we highly recommend uninstalling Base Models and reinstalling.  Doing an Update instead will still work, but you won't save any time doing an update, and a clean install is preferred.

I had quit using this because I was getting pink aircraft pretty often in 2024.

Does anyone know if this update fixes that for usage in 2024?

Looks like so. Haven't seen any on my recent flights...

I'm still geting them in msfs2024 and it's annoying to say the least.  It significantly spoils the experience.  I'm not sure why it is that some of us have the problem and others don't seem to.

Ryzen 5800X3D, Nvidia RTX5080 - 32 Gig DDR4 RAM, 1TB & 2 TB NVME drives - Windows 11 64 bit MSFS 2024 Premium Deluxe Edition Resolution 2560 x 1440 (32 inch curved monitor)

Use a tool that tells you the aircraft which is pink and usually it is quiet an easy fix, like typo in the aircraft.cfg.

I predominantly use AIG and almost never have a pink plane. But installation of everything is still a hassle with AIG, sadly. Glad I have the full install ready and regular backups of the whole AIG folders...

Thanks Chris.....Which tool would you suggest?

How is FSLTL model performance compared to AIG? I currently use AIG and only fly on VATSIM

I think it's mostly general aviation that are pink

Yep.  It looks like some Learjet and Kingair type aircraft to me.  Glad you are finding the same as I was beginning to wonder if there was something wrong with my setup.  I even completely deleted FSLTL and its aircraft from my system a while back and reinstalled it but the problem still remained.
