Jeez, I don't think I've seen a pink aircraft in years and years.....

Odd, isn't it.  Maybe some of us are using different settings within FSLTL or something.

Yep.  It looks like some Learjet and Kingair type aircraft to me.  Glad you are finding the same as I was beginning to wonder if there was something wrong with my setup.  I even completely deleted FSLTL and its aircraft from my system a while back and reinstalled it but the problem still remained.

Yep those are the ones I've seen.  I assume the king air is because of the model difference in 2020 vs 2024 but I wasn't sure.  Usually pink textures means a missing json file (related to the associated texture)

I also get pink piper arrows as well.

I use FSLTL in MSFS2024 with no issues of pink aircraft. I ensure I run MSFSLayoutGenerator after the install as instructed or you will run into issues.

Hmmm worth a shot...  It's been almost a year since I used FSLTL in 2024.

I'm using FSLTL with no major issues for months now. Haven't seen pink aircraft.

If I'm already using an older version of the reduced resolution textures from flightsim.to, what is the update process? Do I still have to update the originals via the FBW Installer first? Or do I just download the new files from the .to and overwrite the old ones?

I'm still geting them in msfs2024 and it's annoying to say the least.  It significantly spoils the experience.  I'm not sure why it is that some of us have the problem and others don't seem to.

The pink means you are missing the textures.   Those without the pink somehow have all the proper textures.  Perhaps setting differences or other addons providing those missing textures.

any tool out there that helps me reducing the Resolution to lets say 1024 or 2048 ?

Use FBW installer to uninstall the current Base Models

Use FBW installer to install the new Base Models

Move or delete the 4K contents of the Base Models folder

Download the 1K package from flightsim.to and place the contents in the Base Models folder

Actually you can download ONLY the flightsim.to package, uncompress it's contents to your Community folder and save the burden of downloading the full 4k models.

Just drop it's "layout.json" file on the MSFS layout generator icon before using it. The layout generator executable can be placed anywhere you like.

For those already using their reduced version an update is available only for the Airplanes folder that resides inside the Simobjects subfolder of the FSLTL models.
