Just installed and first couple of flights are impressive. Over the English Channel now and lots of traffic with good effects (smoke and wakes). For the price I'm very happy.

Sounds good but GAIST hasn’t worked for me in ‘24, followed the install and in game settings but have never seen any marine traffic. So if anyone had a similar issue but finds that this works and displays ships then I’m definitely interested in buying. It’s my biggest issue with MSFS24, which isn’t so bad. 

I've been on SeaFront which has not been good in SU3.  Sounds like it should be good now.

Won't be back on my pc til tomorrow now but before switching off I took a helicopter ride round San Francisco Bay. It was teeming with sea traffic, everything from small yachts to liners. Great variety and very detailed close up. Got it on ultra and no apparent negative effect on the sim. 

Seafront mentioned that the product will be available on the marketplace after a slight delay, and there should be a discount for previous purchasers.

I'm not sure if the discount is worth having the product from the marketplace and having updates be extremely delayed as usual.

The extreme delay is usually 1 or 2 days.

Same. And now that the marketplace has been significantly improved w.r.t updates, I'm going to buy more stuff there. Tired of dealing with so many launchers, updaters, websites, accounts..

I don’t use Gaist, but I’d be happy to compare. 
since the Great Lakes are more like seas, narrow down the geography for me and I’d be happy to do a fly over. 
keep in mind that (afaik), we’d only be seeing assets from Global Shipping, 

p.s., it occurs to me that you might think I’m the developer…?

Well the aircraft I was just in topped out at 34,500ft but the ships were still clearly visible. OLOD and TLOD set at 200 but I've no idea if that makes any difference.
