I use my Stream Deck (15 button) to alias the Numpad 0-9 keys, then plug those shortcuts into Chaseplane.

I have a question mate about this... i have the SD32 button... so if i want to create shortcuts to views on it, do i simply make a new profile on the SD and when selecting a view to save, use the SD buttons? Not really sure how that works bro?

  • Press the green + icon and there is an import option. You should then see an option to import it from another aircraft you have views setup for already.

I setup FS2024 to save views using Ctrl-NumPad 1, Ctrl-NumPad 2, etc. Recall the saved view using NumPad 1, Numpad 2, etc. I make a profile in the Stream Deck software called NumPad, setting up the numbers  0-9  to look like a calculator. In the Stream Deck software set 1 to be Numpad 1, 2 to be Numpad 2, etc.

However you decide to work it, make sure you delete any other keyboard assignments for the keys you choose.

I bypassed the Stream Deck software altogether and am using my SD with Spad.next + vJoy. Select a view in ChasePlane, then assign a vJoy value to one of the SD buttons in Spad.next, press the SD button, select "Press and release" and it's done.

That would be short for Chaseplane. Not everyone is fond of typing 😁

@Tony P

Hi, I'd also like to properly set up my HC's pop-up panels now that I've purchased Chase Plane. I'll set them to the default camera, and then set them to GoPro view!
But every time I start a flight, they don't load.

Hi, I'd also like to properly set up my HC's pop-up panels now that I've purchased Chase Plane. I'll set them to the default camera, and then set them to GoPro view!
But every time I start a flight, they don't load.

The "trick" was to

1) bind a key to disable/enable Chaseplane.

2) Make sure the standard default view in your cockpit and see all of the actual screens you need to pop out.

3) Disable ChasePlane with the new key assigned.

4) Start setting up PopOutManager identifying each window etc.

5) Test the pop outs - once everything is good.  Re-enable CP.

I thought I needed to disable CP everytime I start a new flight but as long as I'm in the default view and start PopPutManager - it all works.

PM me if you still need help.

So I bought the 2024 version.....
But then you have to buy the 2020 version !!
But if you buy the 2020 version the upgrade to 2024 is free

I purchased the 2024 version first and sent in a support ticket about the 2020 version and they added it to my account for free.
