Is it true that there's a way to get the BS analog planes in 2024?

I check the Just Flight forum daily to see if there are any updates. They mentioned that they'll be posting a development status update soon, and maybe even the manual. That would be perfect for custo

For the planes that were in the base edition of MSFS 2020 (Bonanza, Caravan & KA350) - yes.
You copy the original MSFS 2020 planes into the MSFS 20204 \Official2024\OneStore directory and install the BS addons into your MSFS 2024 Community folder.

There's work like that but there's no guarantee they be 100% correct.

You CAN'T do this with the Baron as that was a plane that only featured in the Deluxe and above packages so is encrypted and won't work when copied like this.

Try copying all of them to the Community folder.  I have nine 2020 aircraft working, including the Baron.

Prior to SU3, you could put them in the 2020Official folder, but not any more..

Best is to purchase the 2024 Pro Bonanza/Baron combo pack.  The others should follow..

As noted above, you can put both the default 2020 aircraft and the BS analog mod into the Community folder and get a working airplane.

I would highly recommend the new versions..  they are better in every way, and have Boris sounds etc.

The only surprising thing to me is that they ever worked together. Thranda is known for good-quality add-ons and Carenda is know for cranking 'em out as fast as they can turn the handle of the sausage-machine. One of the parties was going to have to undergo a Damascene change in its business model.

it seems we're approaching:

It will be next, and I am sending the latest build to beta testers as we speak! I'm glad you're excited for the aircraft, but I'm also sorry that there has been such a delay from when it was announced. It's just been a number of factors conspiring against the timeline, but it's finally come together in the last week. You can expect the In-Development page, preview manual, and a news update next week. In the meantime, please let me know if you have any questions, and I'm always happy to answer!

And very interesting post about cargo (I'm drooling thinking about the possibilities):

I think the C208 is up next.  Not sure of his plans after.  But there was a previewed early 3d model for a single commander and then of course the one I want, the turbine twin commander (he's also making a piston twin commander).

If you're looking for a other piston single, I think the Flysimware Lancair Legacy will fit the bill.  Not exact sure when it's supposed to come out.  But they are doing a g3x/glass and analog panel. Along with some different variants like NA and turbocharged reno racer style...  I simply cannot wait!!

+1 for the legacy!

Absolutely.  Even though I love black square and a2a, the flysimware Lancair Legacy is my most wanted addon of all.  I even desire it more than the Embraer Praetor.

Seeing these Harbour Air floatplanes yesterday flying near Vancouver reminds me why I really need this one in the fleet. It isn’t a Beaver or Otter but i will take a BS Caravan!

Yeah love the Caravan. Great hauler of people and cargo. I'll get this one. Might even fly it via VR.
