Anybody tried this one?  Seems like an interesting place to fly.  But was curious how good this payware is.

MagMexico MMMY is decent.  It needs some updates but it's allright.  I never heard of a BMW MMMY......which one is that?

think you are thinking of Monterrey, CA not mexico

Monterey (one R) is the nice one south of San Francisco in California.

The one in Mexico is Monterrey (two R's), and is where the best female rock band in the world comes from.   Check out 'The Warning' if you like rock music.

The ICAO (MMMY) should give it away really.

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

It's really nice from the air. I bought it when it was released. Have not check every taxiway or approach, but for a Mexican airport is nicely done. Not FlyTampa or Flightbeam, but a nice enhancement. Will try it now in 2024.

MSFS

Looks like it comes out 5 years ago and ony available on simmarket or fselite.

Call my skeptical

MSFS 2024 -Too many airplanes to name. Too many airports to name.

It's missing the current runways (i.e. missing one runway) IIRC. Or that was MMGL, not sure. Or both actually.

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

I'm not a big sim market fan.  However I can think of a significant amount of airports that are only available on it.

Yes but very few that are good.

For me so far anyway.

Although I am mostly USA

It looks good in 2024. Taxi down the runways and some taxiways. Looks ok to me. Layout is still 5 years old.

MSFS

I replied earlier but somehow kept ketting error 400.

I would avoid it. It has wrong runway designators, old taxiway layout and missing gates.

Enrique Vaamonde

It's not perfect, is somewhat dated, BUT is there a better alternative?

@Fiorentoni I think there is a new version of MMGL (Guatemala City, Guatemala) that has been released in the last couple of months.  EDIT:  MMGL is Guadalajara (!) Sorry, my head isn't working today.

@bobcat999 my favorite Mexican ICAO is "MMMM"  (Morelia).   Nice n' simple eh.

Wish there was an alternative to Magsoft's airports-they are nice but lacked updates in over 2 years.

yeah mexico has some interesting geography and interesting routes.  I'd like to see that area better served.
