March 21Mar 21 Hmmm, did they get the RR Dart sounds right?, Inibuilds also built the YS-11, but RR Dart exterior engine sounds are bad, like a Beechcraft.
March 21Mar 21 Apart from the possibility of installing in Xbox and PS5, what will this offer that the Benoit Gaurant version won't? March 21Mar 21 Appreciated this news update. So, iniBuilds is developing this one… The JF F-27 in our earlier SIMs was one of my favorites (JF had nicely simulated several basic variants of this classic airliner). When the (old) saying was, “The only replacement for a DC-3 is another DC-3.”, this one came, as one of the most successful European turboprops of the era, from the house of the Flying Dutchman. I’ve a lot of respect for this one. I’ll look forward to flying it in MSFS. I do not (cannot) have the freeware BGaurant version. Edited March 21Mar 21 by P_7878

March 21Mar 21 This looks like an excellent aircraft, and the RR Dart sounds seem good. Once again though, spoilt by the default Propeller strobe / stutter that looks terrible, along with the annoying flickery shadows the props produce. Honestly, I don't know why Asobo and partners cannot see this. After all the work they do, it makes this 'cutting edge' 2026 simulator look like something from the 90's. Carenado seem to be able to do props right without this ridiculous strobe effect, so why can't anybody else? Edited March 21Mar 21 by bobcat999 Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio. Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's. Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.

March 21Mar 21 So, both the Famous Flyer and the Local Legend series of aircraft, are sponsored and published by Microsoft/Asobo. I’m a bit weary of the Famous Flyers, after the B707 debacle, with apparently some serious quality-control issues there… The Local Legends seem better. Anyway, owning and flying most of the iniBuilds a/c in MSFS, from their tiny propliners to the A350 airliner, I have a fair idea…🙂… This (iniBuilds) F-27 will be a nice add-on to fly in MSFS, similar to their YS-11, which I enjoy. Let’s see…
March 21Mar 21 Good news if it!s done well. March 21Mar 21 For 2020 users it looks like only a single blank white livery is included based on what I'm seeing in that Marketplace. Not sure what else is changed or degraded for that sim, but it seems to be oriented mostly to the 2024 audience. Inibuilds has failed to follow up on a number of issues with the YS-11, notably a significant geometry / LOD "gap" that appears when the main cabin entry door is open (opposite of the door), so I'm hoping they did a better job with the Fokker, and that 2020 users will get the featured liveries. March 21Mar 21 hm the Fokker Friendship doesn't have a free trial like the other aircraft have had. Edited March 21Mar 21 by Tuskin38
