I may finally cave and get 2024 ... I think this will be my 4th time buying the -700 and -800.  Canadian North has 9 -700s as well.

I believe all other models (600 / 700 / 900) were a fair bit cheaper than the -800 in 2020, so I would expect the -700 to be about $65 for 2024.

I got the -600 for only about $35 in 2020 and I loved it, so I will go for the update in 2024. 

I am still considering if I will update to the -800 after the 'few cups of coffee' fiasco. 
The update for that is a bit more than I expected, but maybe the new updates will make it worthwhile.

I bought the 600 as my first ever PMDG and was disappointed but I'll probably install it again when the upgrade arrives and have another look.

I paid $69.99 for the -800 in 2023. It is now $74.99

The -700 shows $69.99 in their store. It is marked down on their end from $74.99

So I expect today, unless they give a grace period, the full price will go to $74.99

They ran a largely BS "sale" on the birds they said would expire with the 2024 version. For reasons I guess.

Since my post mid-life crisis and some WinCTRL hardware purchases I've been flying the NGs 99% of the time.  I'm hooked!

I'll be in trouble if they release something like an overhead panel!

I'm going to guess that the -700's standard price will be a little lower than the -800s. I'd say there's less interest in a -700 than an -800, and a lot fewer operators.

So, I'll go with $59.00 🙂  (and $36 for the upgrade from 2020).

You are thinking that PMDG will lower the price by $10? I mean the bird goes for $69 now. The -700 and the -800 had the same launch price.

Well, the 737 range for 2020 was a price reduction against P3D wasn't it?  So maybe! (wishful thinking)

Cool … not exactly sure why I have the 600, 700, 800, 900 but I could say the same for FSLabs Airbus series … I guess is the collection desire to have a “full set” … kinda weird, don’t know why I do that but hey, helps PMDG/FSLabs development efforts.

On a side note: there is a channel advertisement or something constantly running whenever I post here on AVSIM.  Oddly it starts and stops playing every time I press the spacebar when entering text into a post?  I think it’s advertising someone’s channel (AVIATECH Channel), but the videos are terrible, you can clearly see the person flying seems to be using a keyboard to fly and the landings are horrifically bad?  Anyway, just thought I’d point that out … some advertisements are making a real mess of this website.  I get the need to advertise, but when ads actually interfere with simple type of text that might warrant some investigation.

I cannot use Avsim on my mobile anymore because of 'Bad Requests' due to poor advertising placement. As a result I don't come here anywhere near as much as I used to.

I can’t imagine the price or discount will change from what it’s been, which is the same as the 738.
