So now we know why the 600 is PMDG's cheapest 737 and why the 800 is PMDG's most expensive 737.

Are they really re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re selling the 737 or is this a free update for whoever got it previously?

Been waiting for the 700 since the first one came out.  I really only do BBJ stuff.

Well, I’m faced with a bit of a conundrum…

I originally bought the 700, and eventually the 736, for 2020. And to be clear, I would’ve purchased the 700 even if the 800 had been available.

BUT…I was one of the lucky ones who was able to pester PMDG’s shopping cart into selling me the 738 at the discounted price, even tho I never owned it. (Well, in P3D, but I doubt that applies here…?)

But like Ryan, C-40 / BBJ1 is all I want to fly.

And Janet for the 736 😉

and I’m always preaching to people about how the specific variant just doesn’t matter, buuuut…I’m already feeling highly tempted.

I could stick with the BBJ2/-800, but after all, the only 738 the gov flies is the P-8 Poseidon, and I already know my OCD won’t tolerate that much of a departure from reality 🤣

a bit strange - even to me - because, in contrast, I’m perfectly satisfied with the 77F. Absolutely no desire for any of the others… 🤷‍♂️

For me the -700 was all I owned in 2020 so I'll pick this one up eventually.   This release is coming too close to the Blacksquare Caravan though.  I may hold off a little bit on the -700 unless you guys tell me how awesome it is....

Well, as nice as the Caravan is (so nice that I don’t even mind that I paid full price for it! 🙃), the 738 2024 is rather awesome already, and that’s BEFORE the visual updates pending tomorrow.
and it IS nice to have it available in 2024 with no workarounds😎

Ok, now you create a conundrum for ME

And it's too late in the day, my conundrum-solving skillz are gone.  All solved by the wallet I suppose.

I saw the visual updates they've done...truly a step up for sure.

Lots more than the airlines you listed fly the 737-700 so why do you feel the need to tull us who uses it? Just wondering?

I guess you don't know the difference between "Major" and "All". No biggie. Not an important life lesson. Just wondering why you feel the need to tell us that you don't know this.

Is it out yet? 😊

If I didn't already own the 2020 version of the -700, I wouldn't buy the 2024 -700 at full price. I'm happy with the -800 and patient enough to wait until it gets the HDU.   But as I do own the 2020 -700, I will definitely pick this up on release.   It's a good discount IMHO.

In the early 2000s, before they switched to an all Airbus fleet, Easyjet used to fly -700s and I used to commute on one weekly, from Newcastle to Bristol.  So I'll simulate those old red eye business flights I used to take 😄

Just reading through that orders list. Would love to see a P-8 / Wedgetail addition or mod. Doesn't need to be the full bells and whistles but would be nice to have. Bit like in FSX or P3D when PMDG did give us the P-8.  Maybe too much work for not a lot of return investment.

Pmdg generally releases its product in about 20-22z

AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D,

MSI RTX 5090,

64GB RAM 6000MHz DDR5,

Tuf Gaming X870Plus, 1200W PSU

English is not my first language.

I have the -800 and -900 for 2024, and the -600 for 2020 only. So the -700 for me is a full price. Plus, since with the -800 they ended the $5 "sale" price so I imagine the -700 will go to $74.

It's going to come down to how many BBJ liveries are included. Maybe it's the lack of a paintkit, but the BBJ2 liveries are slow to appear on .to.

I am more tempted to get the -600 upgrade. The -700 sits more in the middle of the -600 and the -800 so having a short rocket ship is fun.

What do you expect the price to be? My guess is $49.99.

I think the upgrade price will be ~$30 USD. The full price will go $74 to match the -800.
