This is another huge reason why I much prefer PSXT. Here's a tiny sample from my PSXT log taken just now around the SFO bay area. Tons of GA around!

Are those with Flight Plans? or are they randomly added and fly wherever they want? I think the latter is what I'm after if those GA exist at all in any mod!

 They are all actual live flights in real time. 

 If I went to Shoreham for instance it would be even better, AIG has added hundreds of accurate UK reg'd Cessnas and Pipers GA paints. I'll fire it up and see what I get from this afternoon.

I will use AIG with default real-time and disabled default models, before I spend any money on a subscription.

 Yeah I get that. But after using it for quite a while now I would really have a hard time going back to anything else. The amount of cool traffic that shows up is often pretty amazing. Military Helicopters, trainers, and transports. The bizjets, and GA etc. It's all quite addictive lol. 

I just found GAmod for 2024. That installs lots of GA traffic and no subscription.

Seems to be working great so far just need to play about with the settings.

I ended up sticking with AIG plus the default real-time traffic. For airline traffic it’s good enough for me and it avoids adding another paid layer on top. GA coverage is still the weak spot in that setup, so I can see why people look at PSXT or GAmod depending on what they want to see.

What are you using for models? AIG or FSTL?

For me it's AIG. FSLTL was convenient, but in 2024 I've had better luck with AIG for airline coverage and schedules, then I just let the sim's real-time traffic do the rest. If your main focus is airline traffic around bigger airports, that's probably where I'd start. If you care more about GA variety, then I can see why people end up looking at GAmod or PSXT instead.

AIG, more models and WAY more liveries. The only model that FSLTL brought to the table that AIG doesn't already provide was the MD-11.  AIG's models also conform to the MSFS SDK for both 2020 and 2024.

One thing that really hammers my GPU is using default Real Traffic and ASOBO models.

I have an old srhinked version of FSLTL models (1k resolution which is good enough for me) which I use with BATC and it's injector, and used before with FSHUD.

I once tried AIG but it takes a while to install and I was never sure if I had done evrything right... Too many details like having to use a password from AVSIM Library and updating schedules and .... I reverted to the FSLTL models. 

Also with BATC I don't have to use an external injector, while when I used FSHUD it had to rely on FSLTL to make the injection.

I used (and loved) the 2020 version of this.   With the 2024 version, I've spent hours and hours trying to get it working (at least 10 install attempts) and just do not get any traffic from it.  

I'm;

• Disabling the default models using "Corsten's One Click Disabler)
• Putting the GAMod folders into Community, as instructed
• Setting the AI OFFLINE and traffic settings in 2024 exactly as requested.

Yet, I can go to any airport in the world, small, medium or large, and absolutely no traffic appears.

There are a number of others in the comments on FS.TO who seem to have the same problem.
