I will not watch AviationLads, AviationCro or anything similar. Not because of any personal issue with the guys but because I detest this utterly repetitive 'cinematic' style, where we get about 5% substance (eg. sounds and accurate visuals of the plane) and 95% 'style' (self-indulgent cinematic editing - throwing every non-subtle effect and tool you have into every single video).  

I love the Just Flight / Black Square videos.  Knowledgeable hosts, like Nick or the inhouse JF devs, who talk in detail about the real and the simulated plane.  Although I don't like the main presenter of INI videos, even theirs concentrate on substancial aspects, without the oversaturated sunsets and screaming royalty-free EDM library music.    I know. I sound grumpy and I sound old. 😊

It's just that the cInEmAtIc format is so, so, so copied and overused. When I watch a YT video about a FS addon, I'm looking to sample the wares. I'm not looking for a generic cinematic experience.  I go to the cinema or watch Netflix for that. 😎

the latest Phenom video isn't like that.

At least, not as much as their normal videos.

Same here. I usually skip the cinematic promo videos and wait for a proper systems walkthrough or a cold-and-dark startup instead. That tells me a lot more than five minutes of dramatic camera cuts. If the airplane is good, it will still look good without all that fluff.

I get a kick out of the over-the-top dramatic music for an airport scenery as it shows off shopping centers a mile away, the TSA check-in lines, the same zombie 3d people standing around the interiors and the inside of the nearby Taco Bell.  3 minutes of that and barely 10 seconds of the runways textures, taxiway signs, ground markings, etc....

I saw a recent video of an aircraft sound addon which had a bunch of music in the background so you couldn't really take in the audio they are trying to sell....

Back on topic, looking forward to the Phenom.....Raul is quite the perfectionist so you know it will be good!

Also if I am going to role play a corporate pilot, I want to fly for the same client and would want control over what specific avatar is on the plan for which flight, not a random assortment of people every time.  It is the reason I do not fly the Lear 35A very often even though I really enjoy the plane.

This is peak Serious Simmer Syndrome. 

The only reason I don’t like seeing the copilot is because they block the view to my right 😂

I can’t imagine not flying a fantastic addon like the Lear because of the AVATARS!! 🤣

It's much better.  Lot's of nice shots of the plane. Although I would have liked to have heard more sounds.  The sounds may not yet be completed though I guess.

In that later vid, the British-accented lady whispering "ONE DAY CLOSER" kind of scared me.  I have to admit.  Or maybe I was just taken by surprise.

If they had Joe Pesci saying "ONE DAY CLOSER!" "OR ELSE!" it would have been no less scary.

I'd love both the M600 and the E300.  I hope that, someday, we'll have Along Track Offset in the avionics.  Maybe in the next avionics update?

No, it is a great plane, but I switched to the cargo variant. Really those avatars just turn me off. Maybe because I have been simming for so long I am able to use my imagination to place passengers in the plane. I am so tired of seeing the same women in the blue checkered shirt at every airport I go to; it is like she is stalking me!
